I am running behind and it is going to get a lot worse. Too much to do before we leave. I have banking to do. No prob right? I have a husband who freaks out. One bank knows us well and allows me to come in and do thing ahead of time so all Tom has to do is sign the papers, that is stressful enough for him. C/D's come due while we are gone. Fun never ends. I hope my worrying is for naught, but I doubt it.

You evil people had best keep all those donuts and pizzas away from Lucy and I cause we have to weigh in when we get back from vacation. As I am the Vice President and she is the Weight Recorder we have to set a good example. I do see a tiny glimmer of joy in her eyes when I tell her that I eat what I want at DW and have yet to gain any weight. BUT, I do have to watch it a bit. Just the joy of having a hamburger with a bun is enough to make my heart smile. Pretzel bread here I come!

Aquarius... watches Aries jump high... listens to a Ram get perky... Get Aquarious to chime in... joins the perkiness... and get tired of being perky...

Aquarius... very quiet... gets tired of to much motion...

so there.. see... now the question is can A Ram be as quiet as a resting river on a nice sunny day ?????

There is just no way that I could keep up with all you party animals. When you wear down and need a sit you will find me and TELL me about your adventures. That is about all the excitement I think I can handle.

Justin, I hear that the storm is headed back to the north of you today. My heart goes out to all my fellow DISers who chose this week to go and will only be there for a few days and not long enough to ride this thing out and still manage to have lots of fun. Hope they brought plenty of ponchos. I have a dozen to bring. They are my insurance that it will NOT storm too much.

MV, good for you getting a room for the night before. I hate to waste an entire day at Disney too but I have found that you can often get a room for nearly the same amount on site and then you do not have to fuss about checking in and all that on a park day. Have fun you rednecks you. I are one too ya know.

Justin, I hear that the storm is headed back to the north of you today. My heart goes out to all my fellow DISers who chose this week to go and will only be there for a few days and not long enough to ride this thing out and still manage to have lots of fun. Hope they brought plenty of ponchos. I have a dozen to bring. They are my insurance that it will NOT storm too much.

Yeah...they're already calling it a boomerang storm - we've had them before, that hit the state in multiple locations. For us, it was just tremendously wet - my town got 17 inches of rain. A few small fuj 1 tornadoes spun down in the county, but no injuries from them. The worst injury from the storm's passing seems to be the unfortunate kite surfer in Ft. Lauderdale who has become famous around the world for his almost-fatal 40mph airborne flight over a highway and into a cement wall.

It actually shouldn't be too bad at Disney - the south side of the storm has much less rain than the north side, and this thing should come back to shore well north of Disney.

Besides, I can't think of too many better places to be during a rainstorm or tropical weather system than Disney - strong buildings, good shelter, lots to do indoors, great staff, free food, games for the kids...nobody does 'emergency shelter' like Disney does!
