FigmentFinder, if I lived near an airport I could get away for those fabulous three day spur of the moment trips that I keep hearing about. You could always do what my dd does, she just sends the grandson over here and then he tells me that I have to drive him all the way home to get his equipment and OH, BTW, my clothes need washing AND I have to be at the baseball field in 15 minutes!!

I are so happy. The dead big screen TV, couch and other items are gone!! One step closer to the HDTV and Wii~~, not to mention how nice and empty the house looks. At least until I buy a new chair. Got the yard mowed and sticks picked up too. It has been a good day. Oh, yeah, Tom came home too. I saw him in the kitchen and can hear the TV so I know he is doing well.

Hello All

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. So today I went and visited my niece. For those who do not know she was due March 26 and she was born December 21 weighing 1lb 13oz. She is doing so well she now weighs a little over 10lbs. I FINALLY have a picture of her. My brother lives in Indiana so it makes it really hard to see her. I cant wait in 4 days I will be in DL.

First, I got confirmation today on my April 2009 trip to Disney. I'm renting DVC points so we're staying at the Animal kingdom Villas. We're checking out of the AKV on Firday morning & shifting to ASMo for the last 1-2 nights. I booked those room only reservations today. We'll be buying DH a 7 day park hopper ticket when we first check in on 4/5 so we won't need to buy him another one. We'll be doing the dining plan while we're at AKV, but not while we're at ASMo. I think we'll be table serviced OUT.
Since I was in the Disney spirit, I thought I'd perk a few of you up with me.

Hello All

We had a fun time Saturday. DS and I went to see Jeff Corwin from Animal Planet. He is my new favorite now that Steve Irwin is no longer with us. I will share with you an interesting fact I learned from Jeff that I found rather funny and weird. Turtles when under water breath through their butts. I wonder if it stink too. lol Now aren't you glad you know that.

I have lost over 5 pounds since Friday. Guess the medication is working. I am thankful to have three bathrooms though.

His dad called friday night and we talked for over an hour and he was very sorry and he wants me to come back to work and Mike and I had a long talk over the weekend and I will probably be back on Tuesday as I had promised to go up to the help out with the greyhounds at the adoption place in the pm.

Pooh, Hooray!! I am glad that one detail is over and hopefully, done with. I have lived such a stressful life when I was younger that I greatly appreciate boredom nowadays and wish it for everyone. It is a good thing that you guys are able to talk out your differences.

This is my last day at the CC for this school year. I bought some small things for my readers. Now to find out exactly what they are thinking of for the new library they want me to set up. I have ideas. Low bookcases, kid friendly, murals or posters on the walls, beanbag chairs for comfortable reading and "Book Buddies" i.e. stuffed animals to keep them company. If I can change one child's life in helping them to become readers or better readers I am thrilled!

My very favorite student starts next week. My grandson. He is an adventure. After working with learning disabled children for so long it is like riding a roller coaster with that boy! I love both though.

yes I would rather have a non-stressfull life than a stressfull life. I am taking off today off then going back tomorrow so we will see how non-stressfull it really is going to be.

I wish my mother or mother in law would babysit like that. My MIL lives with us and has never watched Colin. My mother is good, but she wouldn't do a whole weekend.

Long ugly story, we had to removed our children from their school recently due to a bullying issue. Two weeks ago the Principal received a "call" ( usually considered being from the Lord) to go to another school. FYI, this was a private Lutheran school. She has declined.

Hi sweetie DS#2 & I spent Fri night in the ER. He fell & had to get stiches(only 3) in his forehead. Well, Sat was a waste for me after that. Yesterday was pretty much the same, after the news at church. We did manage to move a load of dirt though . I just can't get the concept of having to buy dirt I am sore today.
