Mojito Monkey Mama's 2 cont'd

Mom2Evie, ain't you "specila'.:lmao: I read my grandson what you wrote about me and he agreed!!! :dance3: I have never heard of "Dinky Hocker Shoots Smack" and I thought I had heard and seen everything under the sun. BTW, you can TALK smack as well as shoot or whatever the heck those demented folks do with it. I once smoked Nutmeg. That is the sum total of my drug experience. I am a dork, but an alive one. :cool1: Every Marine I have ever known would fight you to the death over the words that they are PART of the Navy. Believe it or not my dh is a former Marine himself. :confused3

Bonz, good grief, I had to go back and read your posts because for a bit I thought you had had a tornado at home before leaving and then another one at DW. Yikes! Was there much damage? Were you in the room or in the parks? Were you upside down on EE when it happened? Inquiring minds NEED to know. If you continue not using your snack credits you can make a trip to Goofy's Candy Shop and bring us all back some great stuff. One chocolate covered apple please? The apple cancels out the chocolate calories ya know?

crzykid, you got a speeding ticket from your phone company? You have an 'unlimited' plan that is not what is advertised? You are having a terrible time with customer 'service"? Ummm, you dealing with the ding dongs at AT&T? I feel for you. I have a couple of words for you Skype is one.

Ants, I always thought that firemen would make good husbands because they had to know how to cook and clean for themselves and were gone for a few days and then home for a few days. I once had a Navy guy propose marriage to me as he was dying and wanted someont to be there for his two children. I wish I had taken him up on it but I was awfully young and was grossed out by his declaration that I could do 'my own thing' when he was 'at sea'. I am a terribly normal person underneath all this mindless blather. The troops are still here. Actually the governor was in my backyard yesterday also. Election year brings them all out. :stir:

SG

:woohoo: Your an important person to have th Governor in backyard :3dglasses I guess we will have to watch what we say around you:listen: don't know who will be :magnify: us I tell ya :rotfl2: :lmao: I know I know I am not as funny as you are but at least I try!!!

Pooh, you are full of baloney. You are funny and witty and wise. I hang out here cause I can toss words out without folks asking what the heck they mean all the time. I have a plethora of words ya know. This is a great bunch, no drama, accepting of each others differences, reveling in our love for the Mouse and his House and most us (myself excluded) live such darned interesting lives.

BTW, my house is right smack dab in the center of the town and so it is always involved in anything that goes on in town. I did not go to see the governor. I was busy actually trying to help people and did not have time to make or hear speeches. :stir:

The book Dinky Hocker Shoots Smack isn't drug use at all. It's about a teenage girl that is essentially addicted to food. Her Mom is a big anti-drug community activist. She's so busy doing that, she doesn't notice her daughter, her struggle or weight loss. The GET her attentio, she spray paints "Dinky Hocker shoots smack" on a brick wall of a building her Mother is revealing or dedicating. I can't remember the exact details. It was a super great after school special.

While I agree about a Marine being willing to kill me for the comment, it doesn't change the fact that its written right on their arm patch.

M2E, aha, the reason I have never heard of Dinky Hocker is cause it was an after school special and not having had any kids in school for decades I do not watch them Interesting. I might have to check and see if Netflix has that one as I know all too well about eating addictions. :(

As far as the Marine thing goes, I know that the Marines are part of the Navy, but you cannot get a Marine to agree to that. They do not like to let facts confuse them. They train them that way. It is interesting to note that of the ones I know they only have two speeds after they leave, Marine and anti Marine. I have not decided which is worse, picky or being extremely NOT picky. My husband cannot even button his shirt correctly and I know darned well they taught him that. ::yes::

I am not quite sure which thing almost stopped me from marrying my husband, the fact that he was born in W. Va. or that he was a former Marine. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Since he celebrating his 55th anniversary of graduating from HS and I am only 59 it must not have been his age.

I have a houseful of boys playing with Lego's. I am not able to lug the huge containers of water I do what I can. It is a hard job but someone has to do it.

We went over to get our daily allotment of water and I found some bored boys hanging around. They just went up for an ice cream cone and I am making steaks for lunch. Ahh, the pleasures of small town living. :woohoo:

Chirp, chirp chirp....There go those pesky crickets again.

My daughter's first grade teacher is getting married over the summer. I didn't get her an end of the year gift. Partially because I knew we'd be sending her a wedding gift and partially because the time jsut got away from me. Was that right or wrong?
Regardless, I ordered her gift today and had it shipped directly to her. I got her two full place settings of her dishes & the matching placemats.
They're really lovely.

I had it gift wrapped and chose a card. Here is what I put inside the card (its an Irish blessing):

May you have love that never ends,
lots of money, and lots of friends.
Health be yours, whatever you do,
and may God send many blessings to you!

For those of you that might not know, our last name is Irish. I'm hoping she loves it!

Doggie Downers! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

All Peanut does is bark when we have thunderstorms, she thinks the booms are from fireworks! We had a really bad storm Tuesday night that started around 11:00, the first bang and the dog was barking and Kellie was running into my bedroom! Within minutes they were both in my bed...then the power went out! Fun times!!!!

Yes I understand that Lyllith is afraid of them too and Molly she barks when the storms come close and poor Jilly she just sits back in her crate and curled up in a ball.

OOOHHH poor babies!

Peanut got stupid a few years ago, so now when she see's fireworks, sparklers, campfires...she feels the need to stick her head in it or try and bite it and bark! The dummy pulled a burning piece of wood out of a campfire a few years ago, burnt her whiskers...not the brightest bulb in the litter, but we love her! ::yes::

OH the poor thing. Ours is biting at HUGE bumble bees in the back fence area. The dumbies won't stopt until they get stung oh wait that won't stop them either. Talk to you later gators

Guess what?? We are moving AGAIN!!!! Checked into our rental home today and not happy. Can't pinpoint any obvious problems just not up to our expectations. We are moving over to Bonnet Creek tomorrow:faint: I have never moved this many times, but have learned a valuable lesson. From now on we will book a room & them look for last minute rentals. We got BC, 2-bedroom for $500.00! for a week. BTW-Boma breakfst rocked!
miss you all:thumbsup2

Bonz, I am getting plumb wore out just reading about all your many moves. Just the thought of getting everything out of the car and put away in the room is more than I can stand. How do you have time for any fun? Heck, you might as well have stayed home and rearranged your furniture or something. I hope this is the end of your travel travails. :goodvibes

Hey, that is what I do with Tom when he gets out of control!

My wise butted 11 year old grandson was throwing words at grandma yesterday. Tried plethora and I told him that I had a myriad/plenitude/gob of definitions for that and then he tossed a few more for good measure but I had an answer for them all. (glad it was not math) He finally gave up and said " I surely do know you know THIS word -sarcasm". I roared!!

I just about have the house all cleaned back up and naturally it is time to pick Tom up tomorrow. I cannot clean fast enough to keep up with him any more. I have two, or more doctor's appointments every week for the next few weeks which will really cut down on my work time. Thank God for an insurance cap, which I have already paid, everything else is FREE for the rest of the year, until the upper limit of a half mill has been paid off. Dying young is looking like my best option BUT unfortunately I am no longer young so I shall just stick around and be a giant pain in the butt. I have that down pat.
