I am easy to get along with, no matter what my family says, lol. I like Banana Bunch or anything else you come up with but I would not use MY Glowing Monkey's as that would tread on the toes of the ones who had the GLOW party and I would not want that. I speak first, think second. sigh

You all decide and then let me know what I can do for my part. I have limited skills but some of them might come in handy.

I am working on the MK bridal party thing. I have to get time to sit down and write out the itinerary so I know what I need. Wont take me long. I have a few things in the works. So, list the skills and I will use them as needed I am not above handing off stuff to other ppl to do.

Ok unless new names are added we will take Simba-DS, ZaZu-me Rafiki-DH (who is going to ask who Rafiki is lol)

Those are the only Disney jungle themed movies I could find that the characters would be familiar to others. HUH? Do you mean no one (meaning other guests) will know who Rafiki is? OR why your hubby resembles him?
Rafiki is a rare but popular character at AK.

So what characters are you taking?

She's trying HEHEHEHE! Shirts--I need someone to design a logo I can contribute some sketches but I dont have a good enuf program to actually do the design itself. (this is after the name is chosen) Everyone has the same color shirt depending on design. (doesnt have to be the same exact one, as long as it is pretty much the same color --long sleeve, tank, T, ) Advice--check out thrift stores.
*Then after the design is done we can send them out to everyone to print out (there may be need for a few like myself to have someone else print it out for them)
*Then they can iron them on themselves or mount them on another piece of material and sew them on. If the individuals want to embellish them they can.
*The names will go on the back. Iron on letters, hand cut and sewn, sharpie....what ever works for you.

Keeps it uniform to a point but also gives each person a chance to be creative and reflect their personality.

What I meant by that is that my DH will be clueless about who Rafiki is. This is depite my DS getting so excited a few years ago when he got his picture and autograph taken with Rafiki at Epcot. My DH retains only business information so I guarantee he won't remember watching the movie or us meeting Rafiki. lol Truth be told, he just comes along for the free dining.

Thanks for explaination. I like the idea of supplying our own shirts. I am so picky with food and clothes.

Now I am humming the Jungle book song and loving it. It reminds me of being at Pop.

Ang--that is why I figured it would be easier for everyone to do their own shirts. I am picky too and have a bear of a time trying to find one to fit me properly..lol

Grandmas just sit back and let you youngsters figure things out and lend a hand if wanted or needed. I am vice president of everything I am in or have ever been in because I figured out, long ago, that I am not a leader, nor do I want to be. I am surprised when water comes out of the faucet when I turn it as I have never been able to get anything or anyone to do a darned thing I wanted.

One person could do a logo and then send it on to everyone to put on their own shirt. I have a great airbrush guy I go to that does my shirts and it is not expensive. Some could do the iron on decals etc. Might not all look exactly the same though.

I was planning on coming over to MK after dinner at Mickey's on the 7th and have down to meet at POC so I guess I am RSVPing.

I will just take care of getting my own room because location is very important to me and if I have to walk a few steps to visit with you all I can handle that. I figure most meets will be poolside anyway and if I should happen to gt a closer room it will be convenient for you all if you need to store something.

I would be interested in Mowgli as that is a book that Dalton and I read a few years back and that was his favorite character. I look nothing like him and have never climbed a tree though. BTW, did I tell (brag) that my 5th grader grandson is reading at 11th grade level and more?

I am trying to get the yardwork done. I finally got the rest of the groceries in the house and most of them put away. Laundry under control. I still contend that Tom has it easy as he can sleep later, only has to get in the car as a passenger and he gets to lay down when they operate. Hey, if I am nice to him today he will figure the operation is a lot more dangerous than it is and we would not want that.

I was thinking just make up a design via the computer and send it electronically for each person to print out on the iron-on stuff to attach how they seem fit to the shirt. (iron directly on or iron onto white piece of material and sew onto shirt-embellish as wanted. I like rhinestones..lol)

Kelli, what you are saying is that if I looked like that I would not have to know how to lay carpet, mow, cook, clean, do laundry, change oil, and other things? If only that were possible.

BTW, I did almost all of those things, today.
