BTW...Just so everyone knows in general...swag will be given away according to rank Favor bags, one per invitation sent out. Other items-- (party hats/game pieces/etc.) = members first, then the kid/spouses/CM helpers/others. It is the only way I could make what we have go around fairly.

I left work on Monday afternoon, grabbed my DD & headed up to Williamsburg, VA for the evening. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge with a friend & her kids. It was super fabulous! I did think about you guys though, about 2 pm when I was stretched out on a lounger in the sun, sipping my margarita on the rocks. DD & I headed home about 5pm on Tuesday, both totally wiped out!

Hey I am organized, what can I say? With this many ppl coming I have to be.

Glad you guys got to go to GWL after all. I take it the little one felt better. But of course she would be miraculously cured when it comes to going to have fun.

MV, if you find yourself one short with the gift bags you can skip me. I am easy to get along with no matter what my kids think.

It's posted other places that "free" dining next year will only be the 2 CS and 2 snacks. To upgrade to the regular dining plan it will cost 10.00 exra per person. With them taking away the tip, the appetizer and now charging extra, we will be paying probably the exact price (around 40.00) that free dining costs. Not so free is it?

This is our last trip for a while. We are working on a move down there and want to save up for it.

I think last year the UK wasn't offered the free DDP on values either.


Got my final documents over the weekend. Now my son wants to play miniature golf there again. But it was too hot last year for mini golf. They need an indoor place.

I played minigolf at 10:30pm last week at Winter/Summerland while up there...thinking it would be a bit cooler and easier-going at night...WRONG! It was nearly 90 degrees, the humidity was probably around the same, and there wasn't so much as a gnat's breath of a breeze. By the castle-bridge hole, I was so soaked through with sweat it looked like I had jumped in the pond.

Every time summer hits, I keep asking myself why I'm living down here! But then cooler sunny winter days come, and it all makes sense again.

the way financial obligation is going.. I might only be there on my Birthday on April.. and then October... Looking back at 2008.. I am very thankful for all the luxury of being able to get back every other weekend... since it will be awhile till I can do that again...
