Moisture wicking or sun blocking clothing?

I wear Coolibar brand sun protective clothing. I layer, so at the parks will often wear a moisture-wicking short sleeve tshirt under a thin sub protective long-sleeve covering layer. I much prefer this to wear sunscreen.
