I am scheduled to fly to Disney on Monday. Something has come up and I may need to reschedule. I know it's too late to cancel but will Disney allow me to reschedule? Will there be a penalty? Thanks for any info you can give!

The best thing you can do is call Disney directly and ask them. People have had all sorts of different results after contacting Disney directly so anything you learn here would be hearsay anyway and may not apply to your situation. This is what the Disney website says. There’s more information if you’d like to research the website and read the rest of it.

I did look at the website but what I found was specifically about cancellations. I don't want to cancel, just modify my dates, so I wasn't sure what the rules were. I will give them a call tomorrow. Thanks!

Yes you can modify / reschedule your trip and you may be subject to a $50 fee. And the pricing, and Terms and Condition for your new date will apply.

Will there be a penalty?
Maybe a $50 fee plus the new pricing will apply and any discounts that you have will likely no longer apply. Here is the relevant portion of the Terms and Conditions:

Change Fees and Changes to Reservations Made Prior to Guest Arrival
  • Changes to Reservation – Changes to reservation, including but not limited to change in travel dates, length of stay, party size or hotel accommodations, are subject to availability and the prices applicable at the time the change is requested and guest is responsible for paying any increase in price resulting from the change. In addition, changes made 30 days or less prior to guest arrival are also subject to a change fee of $50 per package plus any change fees assessed by third party hotels or other suppliers.
  • If changes are made to the package including, but not limited to, changes to travel dates, package is subject to the Terms and Conditions applicable to packages at the time the change to the reservation is made and, in the case of changes to travel dates, pricing applicable to the new travel dates.

Some can be modified and moved to a later date but others can’t if it was a specific promotion and requires a cancellation and then a complete new booking. We’ve had situations come up over the years and I have found Disney to be very flexible, but I go in expecting no favors. Hope it works out for you.

Thank you for the info!

Often you will be able to modify but will require flexibility due to availability. It’s best to call to see what your options are, especially this close to your trip.
