Modifying Existing Reservation to a VGT

One could easily test negative and board the ship and finish a 3 or 4 night cruise before symptoms start. They'd be spreading it to everyone onboard.
And you honestly don't think that isn't already happening? Check out some recent cruise groups who have returned in the past couple weeks.. As a passenger I prefer the current policy, but I don't trust DCL to keep it. Hopefully they will, but anyone who feels that policy will remain indefinitely is fooling themselves, especially if not planning a back-up to protect themselves financially.

DCL would be foolish to eliminate the Flexible Refund policy. This will mean instead of people honestly reporting they had an exposure to someone with covid, they will try to conceal it and hope for the best at pre cruise testing. It took dh a full 7 days from the day he was exposed to a coworker, to test positive. One could easily test negative and board the ship and finish a 3 or 4 night cruise before symptoms start. They'd be spreading it to everyone onboard.
Recent reports from Fantasy cruises indicate that’s what’s happening now - case after case of cruisers testing positive after disembarking.

I felt when they first started sailing that they were doing all they could, within reason, to keep covid off the ships. I think just by switching from PCR to antigen testing is a big step backwards. Even if they don't care about their passengers' health after leaving the ship, they should be concerned for their crew. Over and over, Disney cares more about money than anything.

I just changed an OceanView to at VGT and saved money today. We had to stay on hold with Disney for about 2 hours to cancel the original reservation and transfer my deposit but we saved $1,200 so well worth the wait on the phone.
