modify resort res. online: any tips/trick to make it work?

Hi - I booked a package at Disney's site yesterday. I want to add a day at the end. Its for months from now.

I see the link to change reservation (both on the page and when I click on 'view details') - I have tried dozens of times, in 3 different browsers (Mozilla, IE, Safari), to click on either of those, but I always just get the same page (the full list of my reservations). It never changes to a page to modify the reservation.

I know I can call, but, well, would much prefer not to and there's a 20 minute wait time. Although the hold music is fun!

Wait a day or two and just keep trying.

I don't know the rhyme or reason behind it, but the whole Modify Reservation thing comes and goes for me. Disney IT at it's finest.

(And yeah, I've gotten caught singing along to hold music many times over the years, lol).

Try clearing your cookies and try again.

I have lots of problems with it too.
I am on the hold with them now because I can't get it to work now, where I did a couple hours ago. Like you I hate calling. Love how it keeps reminding me I can change my reservation online. I would like to throw the phone when it says that

At least I'm in good company!

(I did get through the long phone wait - never got the online modify to work - and actually had a lovely time - the CM was just so nice and knew what to do, so its all good. Although I can't get the phrases they say from HM out of my head.)

I was able to click through that link and add a day in front of our upcoming June trip with no problem.
It did take a handful of tries though, not due to the link not working, but due to availability.
I think it worked due to luck, hitting the button when a room opened up for the extra date we wanted...
