Modify Reservation - Double Check My Thought Process Please

Hello,

I currently have a reservation for December 11 - 18. I need to drop the nights of the 11th & 12th and add on the nights from the 18th - 23rd. Am I correct in thinking that I can do this all at once this coming up Friday, 5/16 which would be the 7 month mark for December 16th and would give me the 7 day window to extend it to the 23rd?

Also, do I need to get up at the butt crack of dawn (I'm on the West coast) to do this or can I call during the afternoon since I basically have the current room I want to extend the reservation for?

Depending upon the resort and room type, your extended days may already be gone. Assuming your points used on the days you wish to cancel are home resort points at that resort, I'd call MS and see if they can make the modification now, using those points, before the 7 month window hits.

I agree...at this point, I would call and see if you can at least cancel the 11th and the 12th out and extend during home resort time.
