Modify an 11 month Reservation

I made an 11 month reservation for Nov for AKV Jambo using a combination of 2025 points (Oct UY) and borrowed 2026 points. I am trying to make a modification (drop a couple days) but when I get to the point to pick contracts it shows locks on the contracts to use first/second and says that the contract using current year (2025) points must be used first and then points borrowed from 2026 to be used second. Dont understand why the borrowed points wouldn’t be able to be used first as I am still within my banking window to be able to bank 2025 points ? What am I missing? Will a call to MS fix this?

I believe that this shows because if your modification requires more points than the current reservation, you have the ability to say where to pull from. Your reservation will not need more points if you are dropping days, so it’s irrelevant.

I don’t know if you’ve seen this thread https://www.disboards.com/threads/h...t-now-if-you-dont-absolutely-have-to.3966659/ but there have been issues w/ modifying reservations since the most recent system ‘upgrade.’ Personally I’d call MS for help.

The modification would involve dropping a couple days from the current res so it would actually be less points but still would involve current UY 2025 plus borrowed 2026 points … the issue is it appears to be requiring that I use current UY points contract First and then the borrowed points contract second and has ‘locks’ beside them rather than check marks so the order of those 2 can’t be changed. I am trying to avoid any leftover borrowed points as we may not take another 2025 UY trip if that makes any sense.
