Modern Family

I really liked it. I laughed my butt off. i also loved the one after it.Don't remember the name.
The one with Courtney Cox? Cougar Town? That's the only other one I watched, but I don't know if it was on before or after. I thought that was just okay though.

I laughed out loud several times - especially when the mall security guard told Ed O'Neill's character (I can't remember his name) that "mall walkers have to stay to the right". So funny :lmao:

Not funny. I may have smiled once, but way disappointed after all the hype.

I thought it was hysterical! Especially where the dad's back went out and the boyfriend had to carry him to the couch. Lol!

We liked it. Funny enough for a first episode, and will probably get better as it goes.

Cougartown, a bit over the top, but hopefully will get better.

:rotfl::rotfl:Loved it!! Thought it was the funniest show I've seen in a long time.

There will be a repeat of the first episode on Friday night at 9:00 EST.

The baby presentation with the Lion King music, the lighting, the costume- :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

We just all watched it on Hulu. I swear I have not laughed that hard in years!! I worked out an hour on the elliptical and got a better workout from the belly rolling I did watching this show.
This will be a definite TIVO. :thumbsup2

Remember, comedy is subjective. Ten people can see a comedy, and come up with ten different reactions. Personally, I'm fine with some people finding it funny and other people not.

BTW, I loved it, my wife loved it, and DD9 loved it.

Also, Glee over on Fox at the same time is excellent. I am reminded once again that TiVo is up there with the wheel, fire, and air conditioning in the Great Inventions category.

The real question in my mind is whether or not they can keep up that level through a series. It almost seemed like there were a lot of things stored up, all used in the premiere... what do they have left for episode 2?

DH and I said the same thing. Hopefully, the writing stays on par with the premier. If it doesn't, I know we won't watch for long.
