Well, we got here today! 22 hours of driving with a one hour wait, dead stopped on I75. People getting out of cars and walking around. Never sat through one of those before.

Anyway, fridge is working just fine. I called when we got to the room and luggage services said they already had it on the schedule to come up to the room. So, we headed out for dinner and a food run and it was here when we got back. Fantastic!

I just picked up the fridge from the wonderfully polite folks before me, but it seems that the toaster and coffe maker didn't show up when it was delivered to them. My internet is on-and-off here, so if you reply, I may not see for a couple days. Any guidance as to what needs to be done?

Try to go to luggage services and ask them to look for the coffee pot and toaster, they should have your info on them, because I had asked the swapper two swappers ago to put your name on them along with the swapper before you, hopefully they will find them. Please let us know what happens.

unfortunately they let me know on the friday that there was nothing else there with my name on it...I didn't have time to investigate further, since we had to be out saturday morning. I would have let you know sooner, but the house took a lightning strike while we were gone, and didn't have internet back until yesterday evening. My apologies.

I keep hoping they are going to show up, I am going in Sept and will check on it then, but hopefully they will show up before then.

To remind all of the swappers who have not confirmed with me, If I dont get a confirmation from you by Sunday the 5th, I am going to open up your dates, as it is not far to others to hold these dates any longer.

Hi. I am very interested and hope my dates are still free for this great swap! Checked the homepage and looks like they still are. I will send a PM as well.

We fly in on the 8th and leave POP on the 17th. I see someone has it booked for the 18th so I could keep it and do an in-person swap the next day or leave it at the front desk, whichever is easier since we will still be in the area.

It totally sucks about the coffeemaker and toaster though. I will keep checking back to see if they turn up. I hope they do. I'm a big tea drinker, lol.
