Moderator/DIS Sponsor

How does one become a moderator? Also, I have seen a box with some form of the words "DIS Sponsor" under people's names, how do they get them?

Moderators are picked from members here on the DIS. They look for those people that are always helping others and are knowledgeable about WDW.

If so then it is fine.

As far as your question, and as answered by another mods are picked by folks that run the messags boards to keep an eye out for problems posts, etc etc to keep them as safe and friendly as possible. DIS sponsors are those who have dontated to the site to help offset the cost of running it. In exchange for that, they get a special avatar and such.
