POFQ is supposed to be done January 2016.
POR will be done in March 2016.

I have been since the update but my kids are older and had no interest in the main pool area which is great for young kids - we went to water parks. If you have been before the main pool is about the same except they added a zero entry and second slide (the old one is very small). They took out the old hot tub and added two smaller ones farther away from the main pool. The water play area is for under 48" and looks like lots of fun for the younger set.

If the pool is important then I would book on what is a for sure and that would be one not under construction. POFQ play area has been delayed but it should be done no problem by April. POR has filed for several general conditions permits on the main pool/bridge with one of the latest (this week) having a completion date of April 29, 2016.

We have older kids (7 and 9 at the time of our trip) and stayed at CSR. The pool was fantastic, as was the themed (dry) playground in the same area. The Jaguar slide was a huge hit!

It's been our kids favorite pool area since that same age group too. You can't beat having a beautifully themed pool, very long (adult fun) slide, child's pool, playground, beach volleyball, arcade, largest hot tub, bathrooms, counter service, refillable mug station, bar and plenty of lounges and tables all together without having to walk elsewhere.

Thanks all. I have it narrowed down to POFQ or CBR. I like the amenities at CBR,but all the reviews for POFQ are a lot better. I hate decisions haha

We just for back from CSR and my kids 10 and 7 LOVED the pool! Even my hubby and I used the water slide. Next year we are staying at POFQ, I hope that pool is a hot with them too!

I know that I am in the minority, but I much prefer CBR to POFQ. The pool area is better, IMO. There is TS dining and I prefer the tropical island ambiance. The rooms are nicer as well, IMO. I would book a preferred room at CBR with younger kids or a preferred room at CSR with somewhat older children!

If you have toddlers, definitely CBR...it has a zero entry pool (the only one in moderate level) plus it has the best water-play structure for kids! But as @HopperFan had said, if your kids are older, then definitely CSR.

I think you've made a good choice. Its a newly refurbished resort with a great pool. Dont pay attention to the reviews. It actually became one of my fave moderates on property....I love the tropical feel, the rooms, the pool. I think the bad reviews were mostly due to the double beds pre-refurbishement, and the size of the resort (its pretty big). We didnt mind the size...the buses were fine. And as i said, the new rooms are beautiful and the beds super comfy.

I was impressed with CBR when I stayed in May for a weekend (I'm generally a deluxe & villa vacationer, so I was plenty apprehensive) Room update is nice, beds were super comfortable, pool area was very pretty (and pool bar was great) and if you don't feel like making the trek to the main pool, each island group has its own pool.

Excellent choice! CBR is our favorite moderare overall and gets our vote for best pool.
