I am adding 2 extra days onto my Land and Sea package. (Polynesian) I plan on swimming at the Resort, shopping at DTD and going to the Boardwalk on these 2 days. (no parks) I am trying to decide between Pop Century or one of the moderate resorts. I would like some advice as to what you would recommend.
My biggest priorities are: a quiet peaceful environment, a nice pool and maybe a nice place to get breakfast.
I have stayed at the Pop Century for one night before, but I only used the beds, not the pool, restaurants, etc. since I was just passing through. The theming was adorable, room was comfortable, but I could hear absolutely everything going on next door, sneezing, conversations, and especially flushing and running water. Luckily, the people next door only had to go w few times, not all night long!Other than that it was fine. I was wondering if the noisiness is common in Pop or if I just happened to get dealt a bad hand.
I have never stayed in a value resort other than that one night, and noisiness is the biggest concern to me.
So . . . any recommendations? Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach, PO French Quarter, PO Riverside, or Pop Century?
Thanks so much!!!

I would probably recommend POFQ or CSR.

POFQ has the boat to DTD which is nice and it is smaller then the rest of the moderates which I think is better for a 2 day stay - is is suposed to be quiet too, however, CSR has an awesome pool, huge hot tub, and also has a sit down restaurant that POFQ lacks. You can go the Boatwrights in POR if you want though. CSR is very spread out so there should always be a nice quiet place to go to. I have also heard CSR's pool is much quieter and has much less kids then POFQ. CSR does have conventions though so sometime the Pepper Market (the food court) can get busy. Both have lounges and POFQ has live entertainment wed-sat

I stayed at POP in March/April during the busy spring break season. I never had a problem with noise and really had an enjoyable stay. :)

I'd go for a moderate. Like the other poster I'd recommend POFQ or CSR. They have more amenities than the value resorts and the theming is more geared for adults. Plus, they are both very convenient to the Boardwalk area.

POFQ is quiet and relaxing. Plus, you'd have the option of traveling to DTD via the boat. CSR has a sit down restaurant and a very nice pool area. They are both great resorts.
