Moderate Resorts

We've stayed at CBR and POR Riverside. While we enjoyed both, we looooooooved POR. We went in 2004 and immediately started planning our return in 2006. We are happily going to return to POR

We loved the entire resort, and the pool and food court/game room area were awesome. We're actually going for 9 nights instead of 7 this time so we will have enough time to hang at the resort and enjoy it more.

The boat ride to DTD was great and the landscaping makes you feel like you are out in the bayou. Even the quiet pools were luxurious, secluded and gorgeous.

My kids loved the pool slide, fun but not too scary and easy to climb to, as well as the filling buckets and water spouts.

CBR was nice too, but DH and I disneymooned there. No complaints but the pool is pretty lame....

I think Port Orleans - either Riverside or French Quarter. They both have a boat to Downtown Disney and they both have good pools. The FQ pool has a dragon water slide that's fun! They both have good food courts too!

We like the FQ because it's a little smaller and more intimate feeling. :flower:

I haven't stayed there but if I had my choice, I would be staying at CSR in a heartbeat. The pictures are awesome. While we are there in June, we are planning on touring the site for a poosible future trip.

CSR has the best pool/slide and is centrally located between MGM, Epcot, AK and Blizzard Beach. Check out my website below for pics, links and info
