Which one is your favorite??? ...and Why?

Been to Disney many times...never stayed onsite.

I Personally prefer an offsite House...but DW wants to try something different the next time. Just ME, DW, DS14 and DS9.

Pros for staying onsite are...
1] EMH :cool1:
2] Delivery of purchases to your room. :thumbsup2
3] Free parking. :woohoo:
4] some would say Disney Transportation...but not me. :rolleyes1

Cons
1] Cost...house is cheaper...even when I figure in paying to park. :scared1:
2] No private pool. :crowded:
3] Smaller space. :grouphug:
4] No FULL Fridge. :sad2:
5] No convenient way to do laundry. (As we would be staying 10-14 days we must do laundry.) :scared: :laundy:

I love POFQ the best. It is small, the breakfast is good. The decor is so cool. Rooms have a nice style. Hated CBR. Way too big, our bathroom was dirty the entire time and the mousekeeping never cleaned the bathroom during our stay. Too hard to walk anywhere in the resort. Busing was horrible!!!!!

I like POFQ and PORS the best. If you're worried about the pool being crowded, I'd pick PORS (since it has the quiet pools and the main pool is larger than POFQ). I do like the food court better at POFQ though. Also the boat to DTD is very convenient. Since you're used to staying off-site, you may consider more of a park hopping vacation w/ an afternoon pool break and then back out all dressed/refreshed for dinner. That's the biggest advantage for us with staying on-site (so easy to hop back to the hotel for a nap or a swim and then go back to the parks later on). Hope you have a great trip!!! :yay:

Another vote for POFQ, the grounds are pretty and quiet, it's small, and we like the variety plus the fact that you are allowed to use pool facilities at PORS and there is another foodcourt and resteraunt there with different options.

We stayed at CSR in Nov. and loved it. It is sooo peaceful and the pool looks like sooo much fun. We did not swim b/c it was too cold. but we loved the grounds. CM's were really great too.

We've stayed at POR, POFQ and CSR. We enjoyed them all -- POFQ is more compact, POR has a great food court, CSR has a gym and hammocks around the lake. CBR also has the hammocks and sand beaches.

One point -- the purchases won't be delivered to your room. They are delivered to the store at your resort and you pick them up there.

It's actually pretty easy to do laundry, the areas are located near pools so you can relax while you wash or dry. For the ages of your dk's, I would pick CSR because of the awesome pool slide -- but it's really fun to take the boat from POR and POFQ to DTD. The food court at CSR is also less than simplistic, and operates differently than every other Disney restaurant (not operated by Disney), it really seems to be a matter of personal preference, though.

My actual favorite is POR, but for a trip with just dh I'd stay at POFQ. I don't think you can really go wrong, you're going to love the convenience of being onsite!
