Moderate Resort Question????

We usually split our FL vacation into two parts and visit a few other sites before we go to Disney. Our next trip, the Disney rates are so much better than on-site Universal, we are thinking about just staying at Disney the whole time and doing a few day trips. We wanted to try a few resorts though. What moderate would you choose, if you were going to be making several day trips to Universal/Sea World????

If you are planning at splitting between 2 different moderates, I'd pick Coronado Springs and Port Orleans Riverside. They are distinctly different and will feel like 2 different vacations.

We tried CBR last year and fell in love with it. Loved the theming and atmosphere.

I wouldn't choose a resort based on day trips to non-Disney places. Just choose the moderate resort that you'd most like to stay at. FWIW, POR, POFQ, and the CBR are the moderates closer to I-4. Ourselves, we like POR and CSR for the theming.
