Looking for opinions. My wife and I planning a resort only trip in June. Looking for opinions on best moderate resort to stay based on best pool and onsite food options. We ruled out Caribbean Beach simply because we have already stayed there and want to try something new. Thanks!

I’d either go to CSR—good food at 3 bridges. Also have Toledo and Dahlia Lounge. The pool and hot tub are great (and they also have several other quiet pools.

Second choice would be POR. As much as I love the size of POFQ, the pool leaves something to be desired. You can, of course, use POR. You still have the option to boat to DS for more food options.

Honestly even though CBR is not my favorite and you already stayed there; we'd probably still do it for a nonpark trip just for the skyliner. - Youll be able to easily visit other resorts/boardwalk area etc.

If you're against CBR, then I'd do POFQ - boat to DS and we just prefer it tovthe other moderates.

We did a resort only at CSR a few years back. We love the food at 3 Bridges and Toledo. The pools there are nice, not too crowded. We did Sangria University at 3 Bridges one afternoon. Nice area to run also.

Coronado Springs, for sure! MANY good dining options (Toledo, Maya Grille, RIx, Barcelona Lounge, Dahlia lounge, 3 Bridges, Siestas (at the pool, but don't miss it!), Riu Cafe and a bar outside by the lake that I can't recall the name. Beautiful landscaping, comfortable walk around the lake, great theming.... This one's a gem!

I am in the minority but we hated CSR. One and done for us because of how crowded it was due to a convention. The thing that we did like about it was the sofa. We stay in DVC rooms most of the time but this was an extra trip and we were out of points. It was just so crowded, the only hot tub was standing room only and there were roving groups of people all over the resort. But the sofa was nice and the food was decent.

I would probably choose POFQ because it's small and you can take the boat to DS.

I would probably choose CSR - there are so many good dining choices there, far and above what is offered at the other mods. I would actually just go for a standard room there and enjoy walking the property. The tower is lovely, but I found the noise from the hallways to be quite loud, something I never experienced when staying in non-tower buildings. POFQ is great. I love how compact the resort is, but the dining options at the resort are limited and the pool is not great. The boat to DS is wonderful!

We really like POR. It has a good food court and a nice restaurant. It also has the boat to Disney Springs. The main pool is very nice and has a decent pool bar with wait staff at certain times. POR has a resort feel, too. :)

POR for me. Boat to DS. Ye Haw Bob for some non-typical evening entertainment. On site restaurant and good food court. Walk to FQ for beignets and evening Jazz. Double boat ride to visit OKW. And I am fine with the busses for everything else.

CSR and specifically Gran Destino. It’s not even close. Even if you plan on spending time at Disney Springs I would legitimately just rideshare over there from CSR before I’d stay at POFQ or POR. Neither of them hold a candle to CSR’s dining and on site amenities and that’s all that matters on a resort only stay.

Either POR or POFQ. Both resorts have the boat to DS, broadening your food options. Either resort is just a quick walk to the other, so you can take a walk for a change of scenery. I forget if POFQ has the horse carriage ride, but I'm pretty sure that POR does. I'd go with whichever resort's theming appeals to you more-I much prefer POR, DH much prefers POFQ.

CSR is the best option for onsite food.

Port Orleans if you consider DS, via boat, an extension of onsite.
