Mod slides for kids?

UGH! Just when I think I have it figured out...

Show DD 6 the POFQ slide. She says the slide is short! It is a BABY slide.
Then I tell her her sis (who is 3) might like it.

So I show her the CSR pool. Yep, she wants to stay at the Indiana Jones hotel. Cool she says. She doesn't remember staying there as a baby.

So I need to book this soon I think? (I'm adding nights onto our DVC trip for spring break next year.) Do I need to worry about it booking up for spring break next year any time soon?

I've stayed at all the mods before, but it has been years and I don't think we ever even checked out the theme pool at POR (back then Dixie Landings) when we went.

I would love to hear comments about what mod pool your kids love best, the best slides and if any of them have an additional smaller baby slide? I think the answer is no? Any slide that is a good one for both a then 7 and 4 year old?

I'd go for Riverside (Dixie Landings). The slide just might satisfy everyone. CSR might be too much for your younger child, Port Orleans too little for your oldest child. I think Riverside might be perfect. I don't think I'd consider CBR. Although it has a slide, I'd say it's on the same scale as Port Orleans. I've stayed at all the moderates and here's how I'd rank the slides:

CSR
Riverside
CBR
Port Orleans

The only mod we've ever stayed at was POR, but my ds9 loved the slide. My ds5 hated it, thought it was too fast

As a POR guest, you can take the boat over to POFQ and use their slide too...best of both worlds I guess! We never made it over to POFQ although we had hoped to. I had heard though that the POR slide is better anyway.
