Mobile orders and Magic Bands

Is it possible to charge mobile orders to your Magic Band, ie your room? What’s behind the question is that I was planning to use $ on a Visa redemption card to pay for most expenses during my trip which I usually do by charging everything on my band and then using redemption card to pay charges to the room. And remind me again- they charge room charges when? 5th day? (I have a 10 day trip)

This is the process for my stays. I've had stays over 5 days but not sure I've been in the same room that long. We tend to resort hop
This has been my experience since they started the $100 hold deal. They process a temp hold on check in day but that charge never goes through as a final charge. Every trip since the $100 has started has gone the same way,
hold processed for balance due + $100
Additional holds processed periodically, it's not every $100 but there are multiple holds sent
On final day I get a temporary credit for the entire total of the temporary holds (seems bizarre but it clears the amount taken from the credit limit
Then a final charge is sent through, for the total of the room balance + all charges done to the room.
That is the charge that goes through and remains on my card.

Can’t do room charges for mobile orders. And yep, I concur idiotically cheap IT decision not to implement room charging and a section for your PIN seeing as everything is linked in MDE anyway

Merch, food carts & TS can be charged to the room. Disney will periodically place holds on your account for room charges as you charge but I think the first real charge is done at midnight before you check out. If you go to the front desk to pay on your last night you can catch it without them having to refund your original payment method on check out day.

Can you buy Disney gift cards on Disney Store online with your redemption card? I think that used to be a thing. You can pay for mobile orders with a gift card.

Your Visa rewards card works like a gift card. Save the number as a note on your phone. Place your Mobile Order, copy and paste the rewards card number in the payment section.
