Has anyone used this website before: http://m.disneyworld.go.com
It looks like a great resource while in the parks. I was wondering though if anyone has any idea what the descriptors the site uses for wait times actually mean. They are: "see now" (I guess that means walk on?), "moderate", and "high demand". Thanks for any help or ideas!

I was wondering the same thing! We are heading down in 3 weeks and was excited to try this out. Anyone use this?

This looks way cool if these wait times are anywhere near accurate!! Will love to use it in the parks. Hopefully it is somehow hooked into the park wait times board.

I hope this works too. I've been looking for something to help look @ wait times.

On WDWMagic I found the following article/blog about getting text messages for wait times and character locations while your visiting - and all for free. Has anyone tried this yet?

Sorry I can't post the url here - so the article is on Orlando Attractions Magazine, posted today, January 15, 2010 and is titled: Disney World wait times and more now available via text message...

I didn't look at the above referenced website...but if you're talking about the new "Disney Mobile Magic" application....

My understanding is that when you're NOT in the parks and you look up wait times on your Disney Mobile Magic app you will only receive these general messages... "moderate" , "see now", etc .

However, if you're INSIDE a park....supposidly you should be receiving specific times!

Hopefully someone will be along soon to confirm!!!:thumbsup2

The web site isn't the new Verizion App its just a website formated for a mobile phone. In fact you can go to it in your regular PC browser and check it out.

For anyone reporting back about this site, please post your results in this thread that way it will not get lost.

thanks

I was just checking the site and found this:

Prince CaspianLocation:Journey Into Narnia: Prince Caspian

Availability:5:00pm - 6:10pm

So is this site no good, or is P. Caspian back in the park???

This is correct.

We used Disney Parks Mobile Magic on our Verizon phone in December, and the Wait Times and Fast Pass Return Times were 100% accurate.

Is this application now available on more Verizon phones? I tried to get it in December but it only worked on older phones. I ended up going to m.disney.com, but found some of the information inaccurate, such as park and extra magic hours.

If you want a free (for now) wait time app on your phone, I used Lines and loved it. It was pretty accurate and you can add wait times yourself, which was fun. It's at www.m.touringplans.com. I think it works for iphones, certain BBs, and Droids, although they may have added more since I last looked.

The great thing about lines is that you can use it outside of the park, so you can decide if you want to park hop based on the information that other users are putting in. Or, if you're like me, you can annoy your husband some 600 miles away from Disney by saying "Hey, did you know there's a 45 mintue wait for Space Mountain right now!?"

I laughed out loud when I read this! I've been doing this to DH daily since I got my new iPhone and dowloaded the app. At first he thought it was funny, but now............:rolleyes1 not so much! :rotfl:

If you have a crappy old phone that isn't compatible with the Disney wait times app, can you just go to that website on your phone's regular internet browser while in the parks and still get the general "see now", "moderate" etc info? That would be better than nothing I think.

wow way cool!!! So you get both the text messages and on the mobil website once you are in the parks it gives you accurate wait times instead of the see now type thing?

This is a bummer!! Ok I know I sound like I have multiple personalities. But I just checked out the mobil magic thing which looks way cool however you can't use it unless you have verizon. That is a big bummer. Don't these people realize they would sell a lot more of these things if they opened it up to everyone??? For instance I would buy the iphone in a new york minute if they offered to Sprint customers.
