ok - I admit Ihaven't read all the info yet (I've printed itto read later) but a quick question....does EVERYONe dress in costume or is it just kiddos for the most part? Don't think I can convince the g'ma to dress up so I'm guessing then the rest of theadults wont either...just the 2 kiddos - but I sure wouldnt' mind....

Got any great easy costume ideas??? OR should we just go buy a pattern & make something??? I don't really want to have the girls just dresses up as princesses since that's what every other girl would look like---wondering about something unique---but then of course if dd choose the princesses then we HAVE to let them...but if I give them other ideas...I dunno...

First of all, Yes, people of all ages will be dressed up. Not all of the adults and not all of the children, but a lot will be dressed up. My family has been for the last three years now. The first year I was Snow White, DH was a pirate, DD (8) was Sleeping Beauty, DS (8) was Capt. Hook, DS (6) was Prince Charming. I got a good bit of attention as Snow White, so much so that I "embarrassed" my children and they didn't want me to dress up at the next MNSSHP we went to. So, the next year my DH and I did not dress up, DD (9) was a Chinese girl, DS (9) was Darth Vader (I think), and DS (7) was Steve Irwin the Croc. Man. This MNSSHP was not nearly as fun since we didn't dress up. Then last year I dressed up as Cruella, DH was a pirate again (better costume this time), DD (10) was a witch in purple and black, DS (10) was a grim reaper (not scary), and DS (8) was a zombie. Point being - it's a lot of fun for everyone to dress up. :teeth:

We dressed up. But you don't have to.

We went as the Alice in Wonderland crew, with my littlest one being Alice. At the parade, the Alice in Wonderland crew all came and made note of our matching costumes.

BTW, our grandmas went as tweedle dee and tweedle dum.

Love it! Now that's cute! :teeth:

I did have another point in that previous post of babbling - you don't have to dress in all Disney costumes to have fun and not feel like an idiot. All though, the whole Alice in Wonderland theme sounds too cute!

No you don't have to dress up...this will be my 10th MNSSHP and I've never worn a costume!

DSErich and DSS Jon are always in costume,DH Joe wears a T-shirt with a Halloween theme and I usually wear something black and/or orange.

No matter what you wear ya won't feel out of place! pirate:

It is fun to dress up! You get great interaction with the CM's and characters!
If you can do it...go for it!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE MNSSHP!!

We had a group of 3 adults last year and did not dress up. I would say it was split half and half with folks dressed in costume and not dressed in costume.
