So after deciding (because I got a pin code), to do a trip to disney in October, I have now decided to kick down the money and attend MNSSHP on thurs October 6th.

I booked a PS for Liberty Tree Tavern for 5:50 (it was all I could get), for 6 people. Now I am rethinking this, I don't think I will like their food.

Anyone, who has attended the MNSSHP, what are the advantages to eating dinner in the park as opposed to eating outside the MK, and then traveling there for the party??

Last year we ate at Ohana's before MNSSHP (had a 5:00pm ressie). We had a great view of the castle from our table. After dinner we took the monorail to the MK and we were there by 6pm.

Depends on if you are dressing up. If you are in costumes you may feel out of place at a resort restuarant. Also, the characters at LTT are dressed up before MNSSHP as are the CM's.

For my family LTT is actually our favorite place to eat. I love the atmosphere and the food has been excellent EVERY TIME. It is very basic foods and everyone loves it.

If you don't want to go to LTT you may also want to try the Crystal Palace. It is not Halloween themed, but many party-goer's eat there prior to the party.

The time of your PS is actually really perfect. You will most likely be done right about 7pm. Between 6-7pm party goer's (not eating) are kept usually in Tomorrowland. It is usually pretty crowded during that hour so you're not really missing out on anything.
