I have persauded my hubby that this would be a good idea. The kids will love it! But can I get tickets in this country? If I buy from the States on my credit card, they charge me! Can I get tickets from the Disney Store? Or travel Agent, or is just Disney direct, in which case we'll have to wait till we're there and hope for the best!

Hi Denise
Only place you can get the tickets is direct thru Disney. I bought mine a few week back, never got charged for using a credit card:confused3 Where you seen that? They charge upto $10 to send tickets out but I never see the point in paying that when you are passing the ticket window anyway, just do Will Call which is free and collect them there.
Booking in advance usually gets you a discount but not all dates. Annual pass also gets a discount on some dates.

It's our lloyds tsb card that charges for overseas transactions. We want to go on the 28/10 but should be able to get tickets on the 26/10 there, which will still get us a discount I think!
What's Will Call?

That is the night we are going.:goodvibes

First the Adult price is $55.95 on the day $48.95 upto day before.
If you bought 1 with tax its $52.14. or on a TSB card at todays rate($1.79 less 2.95% fee= $1.737) that would be £30.02. The fee for using the card would be 89p/ticket(included in my calculations).
On the other hand if you bought there I presume you mean by cash? have you got you cash at a good rate? if not you could be worse off paying cash than using theTSB card.

Will call is an option you are given at checkout, its how I buy all my tickets, you pay online then print off your receipt and exchange it at any guest services for your hard tickets. This can be done at Downtown Disney, any park or resort.

Highly recommend getting a fee free credit card, Nationwide, Abbey zero, Post office, Audi, Thomas cook all do them and you would save the 2.95% fee LloydsTSB charge
:goodvibes

But by the time I get the credit card, texchange rates may have got worse and I'd end up paying more any way :confused3 . We are going to get a card so I may well apply now and use it to get the tickets when it arrives.

Be careful that close to Halloween as the event may be sold out.

Claire ;)

You can also print actual barcoded tickets now from the WDW website for special events like MNSSHP which you just show at the turnstile in the normal way.
At the moment only Oct 31 is sold out but this could change nearer the time.
Safer and easier to buy online once you have definitely decided to go
