MNSSHP - what to do during day?

We will be going to the MNSSHP tomorrow (Halloween). We are going w/ our 3 & 6 year olds. What is a good approach to the day since it will be a late night? Suggestions for which park to go to during the day (rain guaranteed)?

We went last year with a new 4 year old and a 8 yr old. We ate dinner at Concourse Steakhouse first. You can enter Mk at 4:00. I would not wear the kids out with another park. Make sure they get a nap, by the time you get them dressed in costume, eat dinner etc. It is a long and short night, if you know what I mean. There is so much to do and so little time to do it in. We did not want to leave early and the kids were getting tired, but they hung in there. If we had wore them out during the day, we would have left by 9:30. If you want to stay busy, maybe go to Downtown Disney for lunch and shop a little. Just a thought.

Tomorrow night is a sell out too. It is going to be very crowded.

We did not do a park on the day we did MVMCP.We swam, resort hopped and entered MK at 4:00. WE had dinner around 5:30 at LTT and were ready for the party at 7:00. I had read on the threads something about not letting guest in a 4:00 anymore BUT I think that is for the 2008 MVMCP. And do expect crowds if it is sold out. Our party was not sold out and I was amazed at the crowds.

We went to MNSSHP on the 16th. We slept in a little, hung out at the pool and had an early lunch and naps. Once the kids got up we got them dressed, had snacks and we were at MK for 4:00. We had time to hit most of Tomorrowland, had dinner at Pecos Bill around 6 and were done and ready for the party by 7:00. My kids are a little younger but they still needed a quiet day to be able to handle the busy/late night.

We will be there Friday. We plan to hang out at the pool, have dinner at Boma, then head over.
