MNSSHP What Costume are You Wearing?

I leave next Thursday and STILL don't have a costume!! Dad wants to be a pirate. Mostly because he wants to say "ARRR" all night.

But I know there will be a lot of pirates there this year, and I want something different.

Any suggestions on a costume I can pull together this weekend in between going to class, getting ready to buy a house, and getting ready for vacation?

Here are a few of my DD as Princess Peach. I'll have to post DS as Mario when I get a new hat for him.

We'll be going on the 19th. My DS will be Elvis , my niece is Kim Possible, I will be the big shiny Peacock and my DH will be the one with the red face standing 8 feet away from me . Look for me in all my plumage!!!!!

How hot do you think it would be on Oct. 31, I still hadn't decided, but I don't want to be to hot but I don't want to be cold either.

Another question for all of those dressing as disney characters, do people come up to you in the park thinking that you are the actual park characters

I can't say about the heat. I know in early Sept, it went down to around 74 most nights while we were there.

And dh dressed as Vader unmasked for MNSSHP and so many people thought he was a hired character for Disney. It was either after they saw the rest of the family dressed as Star Wars as well or after he told him that he was just a guest that some knew he wasn't hired by Disney. He would get his picture taken with people if they asked though as we walked around the park. It was fun! It was not problem as long as he explained that he wasn't hired. Also he had no problems if carrying his sprite or trick or treat back or a child!! LOL Vader wouldn't be trick or treating or carrying his little children around!! hahaha

We actually found his Mario hat and once DD saw DS was all dressed up, she wanted back into her costume for a picture together. So, here they are! Super Mario & Princess Peach! If you see these two at the 10/2 party, say "Hi"!

DH and I will be at MNSSHP on 10/6. Look for Little Red Riding Hood and The Big Bad Wolf. Can't wait!

I just went to the Halloween party last friday night 9/22 with my MG group I dressed as a devil my mom also dressed as a devil. My two aunts were black cats. All the men on the trip were what else...Pirates

It was an awesome event (my first time) the fireworks and parade was great

we also saw one group dressed up as ghosts from the haunted mansion their costumes were almost better than some of disneys coustumes!!

Just 28 days until, we go to Florida and enjoy MNSSHP on Oct 31st! I have my son's ship wheelchair cover near completed. He is so excited to have his wheelchair coverted to a pirates ship. He'll be captain pirate of his own ship!

Dh and myself are Mr and Mrs Potato Head, dd8 will be Jessie the cowgirl and dd2 will be Bo Peep. We are trying to convince my cousin to go as Tour Guide Barbie.

I hope we won't be too hot!
