I'm getting conflicting thoughts to a question I have:

If I'm at MK before MNSSHP starts (using my normal Park Hopper Ticket), do I have to exit the park and re-enter using my MNSSHP ticket when it starts? Or can I just stay in the MK until it starts at 7pm?

Please help!

:p

I'll answer this because I know how anxious I get when I ask a question and keep looking for a reply!!
I'm 90-percent sure you can stay in the park....but I'll defer to others with first-hand knowledge!

I think you need to go to city hall or something to get your wrist band. You might not have to phisically exit the park.

I think this was up a week or so ago. This is my first MNSSHP but I am pretty sure that a poster said that you could stay in the park just get your wrist band and only those w/ MNSSHP wrist bands can ride from 6pm-7pm. I would suggest getting your wrist bands early in the day (maybe ask when you first arrive that day to see if you can go ahead and get it) that way you can avoid the lines. We are not in the parks that day but get in at 4:30 for a PS at LTT so when we are finished w/ dinner around 6pm, we are free to go!!!

According to almost every post I have ever read on these boards, I believe you can stay in the park and just get your wristband.

I believe I also saw a post recently that said that at some point there were cast members "around" giving you the wristband and that you did not necessarily have to go back to City Hall. I have never been, though, so I can not verify this.

I would, however, feel pretty assured that you do not have to exit/re-enter. Think of the chaos this would cause!

This is what we did last year........
We entered the park using our MNSSHP tickets around 4:45, we had PS at Tony's. At the time we entered they had just started giving out the wrist bands.
We were done with dinner before 6. So at 6.....lots of CMs started directing people out the gate. Those that had tickets were asked to go to Fantasyland. In Fantasyland you could get your wristband so that you do NOT have to leave the park and re-enter.
I have heard that they have done it different other years, that may be why you are getting conflicting answers........but this is what they did last year.

So, NO, you don't have to leave the park. But, YES, you will have to get a wristband. But I don't think you can get the wristband any earlier than 4:30. And you will be asked to move to one area in order for them to empty the park of day guests.

hope this helps.

What is and where is Tony's???? I have a PS for LTT at 5pm but need to add two more to my ressie and was told tonight that they were booked. If I could move to another place that would be good. I was also told that to get a PS at CP that I would have to use a day's hopper to get in then use my MNSSHP ticket. We are arriving that day and the thought of using a day on my hopper for 2 or 3 hours is unthinkable! Of course, I will keep calling EVERYDAY to see if anything at LTT opens up unless I come up w/ an alternative! TIA!!!

Show the CMs your MNSSHP ticket, you'll get ushered to Tomorrowland or Fantasyland to get a wristband (pretty sure it was bright orange) which lets you stay in the park.

Tony's is themed on the Tony's (or was that Tony and Luigi's?) restuarant from Lady and the Tramp (a fairly new eatery at MK), its right down at the end of main street due east from the big flagpole about 60 steps. (Look right at the main entrance as you come in, before mainstreet jogs to the left. Italian food, mostly, which we were excited about but the food was not great and the value wasn't good at all. And, yes, I understand Disney pricing but this was below par, IMO (and the DW's too).

I still think the buffett at Crystal Palace and the "real food" at LTT are much better. So keep trying for LTT! Good luck!

Thanks for advice! We were (so far) unable to add two to our PS at LTT but my sis did get a 6:20 PS at LTT. We are going to try and get her in at 4:30 (according to some DISers, we can get in after 4pm even w/o a PS). We will keep trying though and maybe someone else will cancel and we can all dine together.

Stay in the park. When you enter let them know you are staying for MNSSHP and they will give you a wrist band. Obviously they will want to see your ticket for the party. I do not recall if we got in with our AP's or the tickets but we did need both.

Have a great time, we did!

The problem is we arrive in Orlando sometime that day and did not want to use up a days hopper for a few hours in the park prior to MNSSHP. Someone, I think somewhere farther up this thread, posted that their family has gotten into MK for the last two years after 4pm only on a MNSSHP ticket. So we are going to try our luck (maybe it will work) If our entire group does not get in at 4:30 for our PS, then we will meet up later. Hopefully it will work out so that we can all enjoy some extra time in the park from 6-7pm.

The day we went last year they were letting people in with just the MNSSHP ticket starting at 5pm. You shouldn't have any trouble getting in earlier than 7.

Tony's ......like Grumpy said....is a restaurant themed after Lady and the Tramp.
We were NOT impressed with it at all!
The food was so bad we will never go back. And the service.....our server spoke very broken English....he was Latino!!!! We heard him speaking Spanish to someone else, and that was obviously his first language. It was rather frustrating because he was having a hard time understanding what we were asking him.

Keep your PS at LTT. and keep calling up till you go. There may be a cancellation. When you call, do not ask to "add" 2 to your PS. But rather ask for a seperate PS for a party of 2. This might get you all in. You may be at seperate tables, but they will try to seat you next to each other.
They always try to be very accomidating at LTT.
