MNSSHP-Tips, Tricks, Secrets newbies should know (from the 2009 party!)

We are planning on doing MNSSHP this coming October and I just wanted to know what time the parades and Hallowishes are that night???

For the past few years the fireworks were at 9:30p and the parades were at 8:15 and 10:30 p.m.

Wondering if anyone can say, are there historic dates tthat the nsshp are on? LIke usually Tues, Friday Sun etc..... The reason I am asking is this, we are splitting our stay btwn, WL and AKL and we will be ending our trip on a Friday night leaving Sat. So wondering if I should put WL last in the order so we can go to MK one last time on Friday night and take the boat backto WL for sweet vaca dreams before reality or will that dream be broken into b/c the nsshp will be on Friday nights and we'd be kicked out by 7?
Any ideas?

Historically, it's held on most, if not all Fridays in October....(and some Sun, Tues, Thurs).

Hoping for the 3rd as well for the 1st party. We went to the 1st party last year and we had such a great time. Our highlight was meeting SnowWhite and the 7 Dwarfs.

It looks like there will be a party on Sept 3. Th Disney website shows MK closing at 7p.m that day.

Hi,
We will be there from the 9-6/9-12 and in the MK hours on 9-8 the park closes at 7:00 and I believe this will be a MNSSHP. This will be our only opportunity to go. I hope this helps.

We are going mid Oct. and are planning on attending our first MNSSHP. My question is, if we purchase ticket to the party it includes addmission to the park (anytime after 4?), right? We will be down there for 8 days and planned on an eight day hopper but we were thinking that if that ticket gets us into the park we may get a 7 day hopper and take the day that we attend the party to sleep in alittle and go to DTD for awhile then go back to our resort and change into our costume and go to MK about 4ish. Will that work?

Also, look for nights with MK closing at 7pm and no "Wishes" scheduled.

You're correct! Traditionally they start letting party ticket holders into the park at 4pm, so you would definitely be able to sleep in, hit DTD, then make your way to the MK after changing!
