MNSSHP Tickets - when?

Don't know...I called Disney this morning and the CM had no dates or prices and had no clue when they'd be released. She said to try back in July or August! :earseek: I told her they went on sale May 1 last year and she was shocked that no info was available yet. Basically, she was no help.

This is from this morning's WDW update on mouseplanet.com:

Dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have now been officially set. Tickets should be going on sale within the next week or so. Usually, Halloween night and Friday nights are the first to sell out, but you should have a few weeks from the day that they go on sale before that happens. For tickets, phone 407–W–DISNEY (407–934–7639) or by visiting the Walt Disney World web site.

Mouseplanet is also listing the dates as...

Sept. 30, Oct. 2, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31.

The same dates listed on Deb's site (allears)

Well crap. I mean its good but I thought the 4th was listed as a date as well.

wdwinfo.com(the DIS) has listed the 4th as a date. So I don't know? :confused3

This is directly from wdwinfo: Sept. 30, Oct. 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 2005

But then allearsnet.com, Steve Soares website, and mouseplanet are listing the dates as: Sept. 30, Oct. 2, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31

I'm sure its all speculation, meetings, and brainstorming on Disney's part... :confused3

According to WDW.com "quote:Dates: 2005 dates to be announced
Location: Magic Kingdom® Park"

So I'm still not going to firm up my wishes, until the tickets go on sale!! We're going Oct 4 - 11, and I would love to go either on the 4th or the 6!! I just am happy to be able to come to wdw during this special time!!

I am hoping for the 4th-- that would be the best for us.

We changed our trip dates to include October last year, and I changed our ressie and bought our MNSSHP on May 21 (we were supposed to leave the next day for the beach, which was cancelled), and they had already been for sale for a few weeks at that point.

YUP! May 1st last year! Doesn't seem like that will be the case this year! :guilty:

Bought ours on May 1st also. Out of the three CMs I talked to tickets will go on sale...June to July....August to September...and the funniest....I don't know, call back everyday!!! :rotfl2:

Knowing the way Disney is....It will be around May 1st. Hopefully!!!! ;)

Chris :wave2:

Hmm. Another "GRRR" moment for me! I was REALLY planning to go on Oct. 18. Now my choices may be Oct. 16 (a Sunday) or Oct. 20 (Thursday). I guess we could do Sunday, but I figure Thursday will be less crowded. On the other hand, Sunday is far less disruptive to my meticulously planned itinerary. Yes, I can see Sunday working from a scheduling standpoint. And if I don't insist on dinner at LTT it would be even easier. I guess we'll just see what the dates are when they start selling tickets!

Oh!!! I want to go on the 16th!! It will be our 6th anniversary! We went to MNSSHP last year on the 20th and it was pretty crowded. I have heard Sundays are less crowded days, but I'm still trying to talk DH into going back again this year.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: SURE! I don't have one thing to do all day but call them and sit on hold for 20 minutes. Don't get me wrong I love listened to Disney tunes while on hold but I dont think the kids would appreciate taking care of themselves! Ahhhh! *SIGH*. Only Disney could say something like that to a customer and NOT make us angry!

When everyone says how crowded MNNSHP is on Friday nights, just how crowded are we talking? Does it seem to you that they sell as many tickets for this event as an average day's attendance, or do you suppose it's limited? I am just wondering if the other parks will be busier accommodating WDW guests who didn't buy MNSSHP tickets, if that makes sense.

Good to know I was looking at the 18th but maybe we'll go on the 16th instead. I hope they go on sale May 1! I just talked to my mom and she said she'd buy my kids tickets for their birthday!!!
