MNSSHP Ticket question

I think I read somewhere that as DVC members we will be able to purchase discount tickets to MNSSHP, is that right?

Also, will we be able to purchase them for our whole party that is traveling with us or just our family? Not sure how it works since we are new members. The rest of the party is staying in our villa with us.

I know the tickets won't go on sale for awhile, but when they do what is the process for getting them with the DVC discount? Do you call the regular number or somewhere different?

DVC historically does offer a discount, but only on "selective dates". So once the dates are out you would call MS, or you could purchase at the gate using your blue dvc card. I can't recall if there is a limit, but I suspect there is and it would limit you to 6 tickets at the discounted price.

AP & DVC Discounted special event tickets are not available at the gate. They must be purchased 1 day or more in advance.

There has been a limit to the number of discounted tickets in prior years and I suspect that will still be true for this year.

Thanks for the quick replies. It sounds like I might be able to get our guests at least 3 of their tickets discounted if discounted tickets are offered for the party we decide to go to.
