MNSSHP ticket/park entry question

I just read on the August thread that there is a possibility of a party being added on one of the last days of my upcoming trip. If it does happen, I already have a pretty solid plan in place and don't want to move a bunch of ADRs, so my question is... if I'm at another park during the day (my current plan is HS), do I need to add hopper to my ticket to get into the party at MK that night? I understand that the party is a separate ticket, and I'm hoping that means no hopping needed, but just want to be sure. Thanks!

The party usually starts at 7 but if the past is any indication of the future that separate party ticket will allow entry to the kingdom at 4pm, but if you want to go earlier you will need a hopper for your regular ticket

You don't need a hopper for the the party. It is a seperate event. We have gone the past 4 years and always arrive around 5. Use your halloween party ticket as admission and it is not even linked to your regular tickets.

This is good news, it allows me to do the party without having to alter the touring plan I have in place very much.

Now, I guess I'm just waiting to see if the prediction of an Aug 29th party comes true. It's ridiculously far from Halloween, but who cares, I think it would be such an event to try for the first time.

I am waiting for the same thing as well. We are there the second week and really are hoping we will be able to do the party (we love it!)

If you haven't done the party before enjoy it is a blast!! And Hallowishes is absolutely amazing!
