MNSSHP.... Tell me your COSTUMES!!!

My dd2 is going as Tinkerbell, and I am going to be wearing a Tink shirt and I am thinking of getting my face painted. I have always wanted to and never have, even as a child. I think I may just splurge.

We will be there next Friday for 8 days. Can't Wait. We are going to MNSSHP on Thurs. Oct. 4. We are all going as Disney hippies.:hippie: Material used for the bell bottoms and for our bandannas are a Disney Halloween Print. My costume is just like my 6 year olds. Including giant fro :rotfl:

If you see us there, please stop and say hello!

What cute and original costumes! I love the disney hippie theme! My DS6 will be a power ranger(for the 3rd year in a row!:confused3 ) and my DS3 will be Peter Pan. I will wear my trusty orange bejeweled halloween shirt and black cat ears. DH will be....himself. I couldn't talk him into dressing up in anything. Oh well, there's always next year!;) We can't wait to go back!!!!

We're going on Oct. 14th as Lady, Tramp, Si, and Am. We all have shirts with our characters on them and we're getting our faces painted. DH and I are Tramp and Lady. He's going to muss up his hair. I'm wearing my hair in bushy pigtails and am making a collar. DMom and DAunt are Si and Am and have ears that clip into their hair and tails sewn on the back of their shirts.

Anyone know if they will do more than just the noses and whiskers for the animal face painting?

Awesome! That is some genuine DIS talent right there! :thumbsup2

I'll be wearing my Summoner Yuna costume - she's a character from the video game Final Fantasy 10.

DH and I will be there the 30th. Just wearing shorts and Haunted Mansion T-shirts I made last year. Got the design on the creative designs board. Some wonderful designers there, check it out:thumbsup2

Last year I wore a medieval Irish peasant dress (comprised of an under dress and and over dress). My husband was a medieval rouge (black leather jerkin, lace up black boots). Needless to say we were a bit toasty but enjoyed every minute of it. :wizard:

This year we're still up in the air. Would love to find our favorite characters in costume on tee shirts (anyone where we might find something like this?).

DS7 will be Buzz and DS 4 Woody. They want me to be jesse. I need your opinions do you think I could buy this Sally wig and braid it?

DH and I are going as (resident - dark blue scrubs) doctors from Grey's Anatomy!!! Only because he will always be my McDreamy!!! DD and her girlfriend want to go as our interns!! They would wear the lighter blue scrubs. But they still haven't decided yet!!! Can't wait...this is our first ever MNSSHP!!!

Here's a picture - not the best one, hopefully I'll get better pictures of me in this costume at MNSSHP

My Daughter and I are dressing up in our annual witch costumes. We wear the same costumes every year! So if you've ever been on Halloween and you saw the two striped hat (one purple, one green) witches that would have been us!! We'll be purple and orange this year!!! See you there! :stir:

Here's our motley crew for the 16th:

DD7 - Pocahonts'
DS9 - Peter Pan
DH - Jack Sparrow
Me - Elizabeth Swann in her gold dress. I'm still making it and am hoping to have it finished on time! I'm going to do periodic reports along with photos on it in my pre-trip report (shamless plug here!).

DH and I are planning on going on October 16. We will be dressing up as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head! Getting excited......!!!!!!

Donna

We're also going on the 16th - our first time. I'll be looking out for ya'll!

We will be at MNSSHP on October 21st - a month from today! :cool1:

My DH and I are succombing to our DS(4) request to do the Peter Pan theme. I will be a very pregnant Wendy:scared1: and both of my sons (ages 4 and 2) will be Peter Pan. We ordered the Capt. Hook costume for DH but it looks pretty hot even for later in October so I am looking for an old nightgaown so he can go in a much cooler John Darling costume - any ideas? I have looked online A LOT.

:scratchin hummm... Have you tried The Vermont Country Store? They have EVERYTHING!

Yup - I think that you could braid it. You may want to have a ziz-zag or uneven part in the back in case the wig cap shows through in a straight part. Does that make sense?

Very creative. I am going as Elizabeth Swann in her pirate outfit from Dead Man's chest. My husband is either going to be a generic pirate: or Charlie Brown. He is not that into dressing up and needs a little push. We will be there on September 30th.

That is so funny!! My 7 yr old is going to be a pirate and my two yr old is going as Tinkerbell!! If you are there on Oct. 30th, look for your "mini me"s;)
That's so cool!. Unfortunately we're going on Oct. 25th so we won't see you, I would of liked to have seen our mini me's :rotfl:

We will be going October 21 st, dressed in 60's mod clothes. Not exactly as fun as what I wanted to go as (I really had wanted to go as snow white,...still might) But the finance has tunnel vision and is in LOVE with the 60's era. :hippie:
