Hi, I was just looking at our dining hours and one night we are having dinner at Crystal Palace at 18:45 and I just noticed that that night is a MNSSHP starting at 7pm.

Do people think it is worth the money?

Are there any fireworks shows on those nights as we were hoping to see Wishes or similar that night.

Thanks again

Tom

This will be our first time as well ans I was wondering if it was worth the extra £100 but after doing the christmas party I would say it is.There is a halloween parade, fireworks and loads of sweets/treats for the kids. We have a meal booked at 1800 at crystal palace so will be going after.

If you are visiting the MK on a night that has the MNSSHP, you will not see Wishes. you'll only be able to see wishes on non MNSSHP nights.

Thanks, we will be going to MK on more than one night so it would be good to see a different fireworks show if there is one at MNSSHP.

I love wishes though there's something magical about it.

I think we will go for tickets as its only $53 each when we are there and it will be an experience, the night when we are eating in CP is Saturday the 25th September.

What are the crowd levels normally like for getting on rides etc?

Also is the only way to get tickets through Disney itself and printing them off or can I somehow get it added to my Virgin reservation?

We have done 3 MNSSHP (and 2 at Disneyland, CA) worth every penny. Highly recommend dressing up, CM's interact with you a lot more if you do.

You can enter the park anytime after 4pm with an event ticket even though it says 7pm.

Can't add to a Virgin booking only by buying direct from Disney, buy online, you can either do Will call(collect tickets there) or print at home .

Personally I would try avoid weekends, they are busier with locals. Midweek we have found everything walk on, where as others have complained about lines on a weekend, maybe not as big an issue in Sept as it is in Oct, nearer you get to the 31st Oct the busier it gets.

MNSSHP was one of the highligts of our trip!

We're pannign an October return especially for it!

The fireworks and parade are amazing!!

It was our first time to MNSSHP last Sept and it is now a MUST on all future trips:banana:

The Boo to you parade and Hallowishes are both fab:cool1:

We also loved dressing up, there was a great atmosphear and the lines for rides were short.....we walked on Space Rangers Spin (more than once) and It's a Small World ( one of my daughters favourites:rotfl2:)

I'm not sure I would want to have a character meal while the party was going on because I would be scared that I was missing out on all the fun.

Are the queues likely to be really high on a weekend then?

As mentioned it is September so people may not be venturing there as much for the Halloween stuff.

If we go we will be dressing up for sure.

Probably not as busy as the weekends nearer the end of Oct but I don't know, never been in Sept.

Also agree I wouldn't want a meal at 18:45, you are missing the party you have paid for. We always eat CS on event nights, if you have to have a TS couldn't you do it earlier, say 4-5pm then get out and enjoy the party.

have to agree with that. there's so much going on at the parties. We didn't even get the chance to eat when we went to MNSSHP last year. We were too busy having fun!

We can't get in earlier so maybe we will cancel and just go counter service that night, thanks for the tips

MNSSHP was worth every penny it cost:love:

My DD was 7 at the time, and she will *never* forget trick-or-treating at Disney. Heck, *I* will never forget trick-or-treating at Disney! There is a special parade, special fireworks, a Villians show...it was fantastic!

we bought tickets for mnsshp this year and i was wondering if we could start out the day in one park, then go to MK for the party and not use more than 1 days worth of park tickets? we didnot buy the park hopper so I was wondering how this would work.

If you would really like the meal then keep trying as cancellations might crop up.
It's our first MNSSHP this year too - hope you have a fab time! :)

Yes you can. Use your normal park ticket in the morning and then you can enter the party on your party ticket from 4pm. This 4pm entry is normal practice but Disney could always change the policy - worth bearing in mind.
Make sure you nip back later to pick up your dedicated MNSSHP map and trick or treat bag if they're not handed out when you enter.

MNSSHP is a totally separate ticket to the ones you will have for normal, everyday entrance.
You could go to Epcot in the morning using you park tickets then MNSSHP using your event tickets and it would only use one day off you ticket - provided you use your MNSSHP ticket no earlier than 4pm.

We are looking to go to MNSSHP on Thursday 30th Sep I have not booked tickets yet, I will be ringing Disney next week to Pay off my booking, can I book tickets through them, if not can I wait till we are out there or will the tickets be sold out, I will need 4 Adult ones.

i've read only halloween and near halloween tend to sell out. The tickets are limited though so if you are set on a date go ahead and buy.

We are planning on getting out tickets for October in early september (need to pay holiday off as a priority first)

As an update due to the advice in here I have jiggled my ressies about, now eating at crystal palace at lunch on the Saturday followed by Wolfgang puck at night and have booked tickets for the party on Tuesday 28th.

As of yet we have no dining booked for that day.

Thanks so much for your help again
