Hi!
My DH just found out he has a meeting in Orlando.
My DD7 and I are considering going with him.
We have never been to MNSSHP...

Should we go Friday, October 24 or Sunday, October 26 or does it not matter?

How crowded is it?
Will it be managable in a wheelchair?

I appreciate the help!

Jeannie

We're going to be there on the 26. My vote for you would be that day as well. Friday is the start of the weekend and I imagine that it might be more crowded than on Sunday. My guess would be that more local people would spend a Friday night at the halloween party as opposed to a Sunday night before school the next morning. I've never been to MNSSHP so I don't know how crowded either would be, but I know I'm going to have lots of fun.

We went last Oct on a Sunday and I agree with the school-night theory. (We're doing the first Sun party this year as well.) We went to MK on Sat (afternoon & evening) and again on Sunday before the party, and the party crowd was nothing compared to those. How many tix are sold for this...5,000? I can't remember.

The crowds were very managable, IMHO. And the later you stay, the better it gets! By around 10pm last year we could walk on just about anything.

I would also cast my vote for the 26th. Nothing scientific except that the ressies I made for LTT were much more difficult to get for the 24th (at a reasonable time) than the ones I got for the 26th.

I also agree with the Friday night theory of sleeping in the next day with local kids not having school. That would be my philosophy if I were a local.

I, too, would love to know if anyone knows how many tickets are sold for this????

Well, DW and I going on Friday (10/3 - there's a DIS Meet!) AND Sunday (10/5). But if I had to pick one day of the week, it's Sunday over Friday, for all of the reasons already given.

Another vote for the 26th ~ We are going on that nite too!!!

Hi,
I went there on a friday in 2000. I would never do a friday again! It was so crowded we could not get near a ride. The lines were so long. We just walked around all night. But, wow, was it beautiful!!!. I loved the halloween party. As a matter of fact, I liked the halloween party better than the christmas party. I went during the week last year to the christmas party and the crowds were fine. Much more manageable during the week.
Have a great time and don't miss the halloween parade. It is beautiful.
