Mnsshp party tix and fast pass ??? Need help!!!!

I have a few questions:

1. If staying onsite how soon can you book FP using a party ticket?

2. How exactly do you use that ticket to make fast passes? In my MDE account we have a note saying we have tickets with a confirmation number but thats it. I don't see how to use that to make FP. I originally used my 5th day ticket to make FP for our party day but since we're not entering pro till around for anyways I decided I want to try and go to a park on arrival day. So that means I would need to cancel the FP I have for our party day so can make them for our arrival day. But I don't want to do that until I secure FP using the party ticket.

So can anyone explain this process of using party tickets to make FP. When and how you do it? Thanks!!!

Same time and way you make FP for regular tickets. 60 days out.

if your using your party ticket though make sure to only make it from 4 to 7pm. Thats when you can enter with party ticket alone.

Actually make sure your FP reservations are done by 6:30pm. Disney has been cancelling those that go past 6:30pm.

Okay so I can make FP 60 days out using party ticket. I got that.

But MDE only shows me being able to make FP for 5 days and that's because I have 5 day park hoppers. So I'm trying figure out how to make FP with just the party ticket. Right now I have FP for pre party using my 5 day tickets but I want to go on arrival day which is 9/26. And I'm not showing being able to make FP that day because I have them 9/27 to 10/1. If I link the party ticket to a separate MDE account would I be able to make FP then using the party ticket?

I don't want to cancel my FP yet for our pre party because I have one for SDMT. And I want to see if can get one using party ticket before I cancel what I got?

You won't be able to double dip fastpasses on a party day. You can still only book 3 so if you have 3 booked for earlier in day they would cancel out you being able to book extra during 4 to 7.

Thanks!! I already had my 3 FP booked from 4-7 since we were already planning to just go at 4 on party day.

Update: I got everything figured out. I was able to link my party tickets so that opened up me being able to book my FP for arrival. I was also able to keep my original FP for party night because they were already booked for 4p to 7p. So we are good to go!!!!

Actually make sure your FP reservations are done by 6:30pm. Disney has been cancelling those that go past 6:30pm.

They have actually fixed that glitch now. I was able to rebook a FP from 5:40-6:40 (which was my original time) and have read reports of others being able to do so as well.

Thanks for info. I saw that yesterday and I switched my Buzz FP that they. Canceled back to 6-7. So far they've not cancelled it again.

The Party ticket is all that you need. Enter MK at 4:00p.

No you can enter park at 4pm with a party ticket.

The whole FP+ thing still mystifies me...If I'm using my regular park passes to visit another park during a party day with my family and then going to MK for the party later that night with friends, will MDE let me book more FP+ than normal for that day? Does it distinguish what you're booking with each ticket type? (Sorry to hijack your thread!)

No, it will not distinguish and will only allow you to book 3 fp+ per day per person. I plan to use a regular park ticket the same day I'm doing a party so I bought my party tickets under my dh's mde account. I'll be able to book FP+ on the party tickets at 30 days out since it will not be linked to our resort reservation. I'll be able to book 3 FP+ that same day on my regular park ticket at 60 days since the regular tickets are on my MDE account with the resort reservation on it.

I've been told the only way you could book more than 3 FP is to set up another MDE account and link the party ticket to that account. Then you could book 3 FP with that ticket as well.

Thanks for the info! I'm not all that concerned about it because we won't likely get to MK for the party until 6pm or so anyhow! But good to know in case plans change!
