MNSSHP or Hoppers

No, hopping is one price for the whole length of stay, not a price per day. It's the same price to add hooper whether you're there for 4 days or 14.

I think sethschroeder was trying to say drop 1 day from the ticket (if they have 5 day drop to 4 and add on hopper to the 4 days). Then buy MNSSHP tickets with the difference. The only problem with this is that the day that is dropped doesn't even come close to paying the price of hopper or MNSSHP tickets. After 4 days on a ticket the price to add (or drop) days is less than $10.

We enjoy going to Dinsey in late Sept./early Oct. Love the low crowds and hot weather...We have never gone to MNSSHP. Are my kids missing out? I think this next trip we will be getting the hoppers for the first time. (We always get the 5 day MYW base tickets). If you had to pick between MNSSHP or hoppers which would you pick? We won't do both..but we want to try one or the other.

I don't think Hoppers make sense at Disney World… with the time it takes to travel between parks, and how much there is to do within each park, there is no real benefit…. and the party is fantastic!!

I love having hoppers, but if it was a choice between them or MNSSHP party, MNSSHP would win every time. It is such a fun party. The parade is great, the castle villain show is great, the decorations are great, the characters are great, the magic shots with the haunted mansion ghosts in them are great, and seeing all the guests in costume is fantastic!

Hoppers all the way. I'm surprised at the lack of positive response for hoppers.

We stay at an Epcot resort and love going to Epcot at night for dinner and rides. So we'll go to a park in the morning and early afternoon (Magic, DHS, AK), and then come back to the resort for a swim or nap. Then walk on over to Epcot at night.

I wouldn't even think about going to Disney without hoppers.

Disney has made their hours later this September than any September I have ever went before. Definitely get MNSSHP tickets and not hoppers!

The only nights MK closes early this September are party nights! It use to close at 7pm most nights in September years back even without a party. Now its open until 10 or 1am in September.

Look up the Trip report for DaveinFallsChurch. He has some amazing photos of last years MNSSHP parades. You won't want to miss it! It was so good they are going twice this year i think. (both adults)!

MNSSHP wins my vote...the parade, fireworks, and special events are spectacular! Kids will love "trick or treat" stations as well.

Thank you for all of the input and to OP for bringing up the subject. Last night we saw a beautiful fireworks display and I kept thinking about how awesome Hallowishes will be in a few months. Have a great weekend!

You and me both!

But I think staying at an Epcot resort, we need hoppers more than another guest staying at a different resort. The ease of going in and out of Epcot (or DHS for that matter) for lunch/dinner makes hoppers priceless. :)

I never get hoppers but would if I ever got to stay at an Epcot resort. Out of budget for me. :( But totally agree with you in this circumstance.

I always get hoppers, but if I had to choose I'd probably go with MNSSHP tickets as well.

We only get to stay at Beach Club because we don't go to WDW very often.

Believe me, if we went every two years, we'd be in a moderate, no way could we stay deluxe! :p

Yup, totally get it. Whereas I stay Value so I can go a couple times a year. I am thinking of renting points for DVC for next year's trip, so I may have that experience after all! It's still up in the air. I've always wanted to be able to walk to Epcot for dinner. So many great restaurants to choose from.

I guess if you have never did the Halloween party then I say spend your money on the extra tickets. But if you have been once then I say Hoppers all the way.

In my personal case, we have been to the Halloween a couple of years in a row. Definitely worth it but we have been there did that so I always buy hoppers now.
