We had a 4:00 before a MVMCP and that worked fine, do you think the 5:40 is good or should I try to change it to earlier?

Since 'technically' the festivities don't begin until 7pm you will be fine and not miss anything hollweenish, but if you wanted to boost some extra park time since we are allowed in at 4 with the ticket, then you might want to try for earlier. Good luck!!!

THanks for this thread, I'll be excited to see some of you. Is there going to be a meet? I haven't read the whole thread yet.

We're going to have a meet, just not sure where or when, since there are a lot of ADRs and we want everyone to enjoy MNSSHP with their familes, so it will probably be a quick meet. I will post it on the MEET thread and then on here too!!

Hi! Add us to MNSSHP on Oct 5!! Me Dh DD 4 and DS 7. DD does not want to wear a Princess costume again- she says they itch her. She won't even try it on. So I ordrered her a ballerina costume. Not sure about DS yet. Me and DH don't dress up, I'll get us HAlloween shirts!

I'm 99% certain we'll be at the Oct 5th MNSSHP. I think we're going to try to go to two...went last year, and had such a ball, but there was too much to see and not enough time! The fireworks were just amazing last year.

We were Shrek and Fiona last year. Had several CMs tell us they were great costumes, so don't be afraid to go non-Disney. I HATED my dress...looked like a giant green sack, so if we do that again, I'll have to find a new dress. DH"s costume was easy...a pair of pajama pants, a shirt we already had because of going to Renaissance Faires, and we made Shrek's vest by cutting the arms out of a quilted long underwear-type top, and dying it brown in the washing machine! Total cost...under $20!

I'd like to go as Belle and Beast, but my sewing skills aren't up to par for that dress. I have a friend whose mom is a seamstress, so I'm going to see if she'd be willing to make it for me...I think I could manage making the one for DH.

Or maybe we'll do Eilonwy and Taran from the Black Cauldron. I have her dress about half-way done already...just have to find the time!

Looking forward to chatting and building the excitement before the trip! And meeting everyone there, I hope!

Ok... just to cover all our Pop and MNSSHP bases here...

We will be at MNSSHP on October 5! Had the tickets for a few weeks now. This will be our second MNSSHP... loved it last year. It was a bit sprinkly last year when we went, so we wore halloween t-shirts (all hail Target) and rain ponchos until the rain stopped.

We have 4:15 ADRs for Crystal Palace. We were also thinking of 1900 Park Fare as we've never tried either... any comments on which is better?

Can't wait for Hallowishes!

scrappinmom, isn't it wierd how we will most likely meet at the POP or at MNSSHP down in WDW in FLORIDA and we are from IL and pretty close to each other! hahaha!! i always find that crazy when i run into people in WDW that i know from around home!

Just found this post and would like to add our Grand Gathering to your list!! We are a party of 8, all staying at PopC from Sep 24 to Oct 7 (yup, that's right, TWO FULL WEEKS and with FREE Dining Plan the whole time!!!)

We have bought tickets for MNSSHP for Oct 5th - have never been before. I'm going to go back and read these threads from start to finish to see what all you guys have planned, and see if there's any part we can join in on....

Would we be the only Canadians in the bunch?? We're all from Nova Scotia and we're a fun bunch !
