Hello Disers,

Trying to decide a quick trip to DW for Halloween party. I have ready positive and negative about it. What do you guys think, is it worth it or save my money. Heard its been getting crowded in recent years.

It's worth it to me. We've gone for 9 years and usually do a weekend trip just for the party. So arrive Thursday around noon, party Thursday night, sleep late/at the resort on Friday during the day, party Friday night, Saturday 1 day park hopper to do all the other parks, fly home Sunday. Honestly, if they ever switched to Saturday party dates, I'd fly down Friday night, do just the party, and fly home Sunday.

here's why:
I love villains. I love ghosts.
The parade is amazing.
The undead Dapper Dan's blow me away every time.
The fire works with the Halloween music is utterly astounding and can't be seen any other way.
The parade with the Haunted Mansion dancers.
The Halloween merchandise is exactly my thing (decorates my home year round)
Special Halloween cupcakes are a fun treat
We get enough free candy that we haven't had to buy Halloween candy for years
My family can't tolerate the sun/heat so getting into the park at 4pm for 8 hours of park time in the dark is a great choice for us.
