Saw this over on the Passporter boards:
"When I read the MVMCP post, I got a little worried and called Disney immediately, asking if the change would be in effect for Halloween, too.
Unfortunately, it is! They're not allowing anyone into the parks early this year, unless you have a dining reservation. Everyone else will only be admitted at 7 pm.
If you have a dining reservation between 4 and 7, they would let you in by taking your party ticket and giving you your wristband then, so you wouldn't have to go all the way back to the entrance at 7 pm."

What's everyone's opinion on accuracy?

While I realize that the 4PM entry is just a nice perk that WDW has allowed in past years, if it wasn't offered, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't attend a party. $54 (plus tax) for 5 hours is not worth it IMO. But, since I've already purchased my tickets for this year, I just went online and booked myself a dining ressie at the Plaza for party day at 4:30 just in case. I will cancel if this rumor proves false once the parties begin!
