I don't know whether to be angry at how much the prices have increased over last year or relieved that they didn't go up as much as I expected given the Disney After Hours pricing.

No rush to buy...the only date likely to sell out before September (at least for MNSSHP) is Halloween...there's time to wait and think and check weather and family circumstance before committing to non-refundable tickets...

Rain does not cancel the party - it just cancels some of the party events. The Disney MOMS Panel itself recommends waiting to buy your tickets until you know you won't have severe weather during your trip.

10-28+%, depending on your date - a hefty increase 2 years running (last year's was roughly 10% also)...

Pretty shocked at how much they went up! Not happy about that at all but as greedy as Disney is these days i guess it shouldn't be a surprise!

So, if you have an Ap now, can you buy now and get the discount even if your AP will have run out by the time you go on your trip? Don't remember them ever checking my party tickets before to see if we had an AP.

Also, can we still get a discount if paying with a Disney visa? So mad, we booked the walk in Walt footsteps your in DL for next week and forgot to ask about the DV disc and she didn't offer(have had them ask before even getting tours), woulda saved about $34 for our two tickets! Ugh, lol.

It seems like the closer a party is to 10/31, the faster it sells out. Am I wrong, or did they go up for sale in July last year? Somehow the sale date took me by surprise. We didn't prepare for it (thinking we had another 2 months) so we might lose out on going this year. We can only be there for the one on Halloween and I'm afraid it will sell out in the next month or so. I can't complain, it just caught me off guard.

They went on sale in April last year, but that was somewhat earlier than they normally do. May is usually when they go on sale.

As I recall, Halloween is the first one that sells out but it won't be that fast so you should be fine. Especially at the huge premium increase.
