MNSSHP & MVMCP Admission Times

I made one at 4:20 on our MNSSHP night, Oct. 28th.

Again, it makes no sense why they wouldn't let people into the park. Remember, more people in the park = more dollars being spent. Disney is not going to tell people "You're not welcome to come in and spend your money".

perfect, i'm sure they're allowing party guests admission at 4. there's just no way they'll stop people and say, "Sorry, party starts at 7."

i believe the ADR system cutting reservations at 5...or even 6. Gives people without party tickets the change to eat before they leave, then after they leave - its up to park employees to point out the exit (time permitting of course)

I really dont like the rumor, its foolish. When I bought my tickets I was told, 4PM admission - I have no clue why people keep pushing the 7pm rumor. I guess we'll learn real soon what's true and what's rumor!

I certainly hope this rumor is not true..it would mess up a lot of plans for a lot of us....

I will wait for the Pod Cast team to find out and let us know.

As I mentioned before, I think there's a lot of internal confusion. It may cause or force Disney to have a change of heart. Like you, I'm very curious how this is all going to play out. My hope is 4:00PM will be the admission time for you and everyone else who has plans. :grouphug:

Just remember...You are dealing with Disney time.
I E-mailed customer service over 10 months ago and asked when the 2010 Epcot Food and Wine dates were.... I was e-mailed back with the date of SEPTEMBER 24...:scared1:
I did all my planning and reservations on this date!

Everything Disney is sbject to change...All this talk about entering the park early...I take it, you do not need a regular ticket to go to the MNSSHP.

If it is 7 pm, I'll be interested to see how WDW justifies it "based on guest demand."

I wanted to bump this up to see if those who went to the first party last night made it in at 4:00PM? I'm guessing so, but just wanted to hear from someone for sure.

Yes, it's being reported and posted all over the 'Theme Parks" board that party goers were let in at 4:00p. :thumbsup2

i believe they cut off all adr's for 5pm, i might be wrong. i actually tried making an adr the for 10/26 ( i will be at the party and i wanted to eat in the park) but nope! cant do it.

I just made reservations to eat at The Plaza Restaurant for 5:15 on 10/22 and we are going to the party that night.

I actually called in 2007 to make sure the time was 4 for the Christmas party and was told it was 7 by the CM. I just about had a heart attack.:scared1:I was able to go and get in at 4, but I was giving incorrect information for the CM on the phone. Shocking I know.:rotfl:

I'm really glad it's 4:00PM. I sort of think the internal 7:00PM communication going on was to try and make CRO or Guest Services tell guests it was 7:00PM so not everyone shows up at 4:00PM. Maybe too many guests were taking the 4:00PM entry time for granted. Policy is 7:00, but with a little pixie dust it can be 4:00PM.

I agree.

The latest controversy is the rumor (I'm think it was confirmed but am not sure) that Space Mountain was closed during the party last night.

I believe it was...I was looking at some of the Magic Kingdom wait times from apps on my IPhone at 10:30PM last night and it said "Space Mountain - Closed"

Guests were allowed in the park at 4:00pm

Space Mountain was open last evening. Grace and Walter rode at approximately 10:30pm

Thanks Kevin. Glad to hear.

I never trust CRO fully, because they have call centers where the cast members don't know as much as they should. I think they were probably given a fact sheet showing that the Halloween (or Christmas) parties "officially" start at 7pm, so that's the information they'll give guests.

Cast members at the parks usually have the correct information, but not always. (Some college program cast members might be less informed at times.)

I hadn't known that we could enter the parks as early as 4pm before I read the DIS. There's usually a lot of confirmation involved here, and it's usually been on target. :thumbsup2
