We are going to WDW in Oct. and I want to bring my little ones to MNSSHP.

Few questions. I am trying to gather as much information as possible

1. Is it crowded on Weeknights?
2. Are the rides open?
3. Whats so special about it.

Any insight would be great.

This thread has a lot of info about the attractions, food open etc. We went on a weeknight in 2003 and it was moderately busy but similiar to a quiet normal day in the park.

I love MNSSHP! It is so neat to see all the characters dressed up in costume and the CM's are dressed up too.

I have to agree. The night is soooo much fun. There aren't majorly huge crowds because they only sell a certain number of tickets (plan to buy them as soon as you can). If I remember correctly (been about 4 years since I went to one) most of the rides are open. You can get dressed up, too, you just can't wear full head masks. And the parade is great. As a Disney Villains and Haunted Mansion fan I found it very entertaining. The kids get little give aways as well during the evening. You can find a lot of info here http://allearsnet.com/tp/mk/mnssh.htm :flower:

I went on a Wednesday night last year. It was pretty crowded - but not jammed like a summer July day.

There is a list somewhere, but most of the rides are open (as was said earlier). In some of them, like The Haunted Mansion, the CMs are in really great costumes.

It's Halloween - that's what is so great. The MK is done up (bats and ghosts all around); there is face painting and candy lines for the kids.

And the parade is not to be missed. It was great.

Can't wait to go back this year!

Love it! Not to be missed IMHO! Get your tickets asap!

several months ago people listed the exact dates and rides. The parade is halloween. The atmosphere is great. There is free face painting. Trick or treat stations under big orange balloons. Character dance party in tomorrow land. :flower:
