MNSSHP Discount post April 2016

Are the discount for MNSSHP also available to DVC owners which bought their ownership after April 2016?

I would think technically not as all the discounts are part of the "membership magic" program. That being said many resale owners have reported being able to actually purchase a Gold pass via the Disney website despite not being eligible (though there is the distinct possibility that they could/would refuse to activate it if you don't present the correct DVC member card). So if the website allows you to purchase the discounted tickets you would be able to get the discount even if you aren't supposed to be eligible. You don't have to pick the tickets up in person. You can either select an e ticket or to have a plastic ticket to be mailed to your house when you buy them online. In either case the ticket is immediately active so you wouldn't have to go to a ticket window with a DVC card to enter the party. We are eligible resale owners but I always order the tickets online so I don't have to deal with the lengthy waits at the ticket windows.

Thanks, i'm also a AP holder (not Gold) so I could also get the discount by using that. I was just wondering for any future travel when I might not be AP an holder.

I have purchased 8 MNSSHP tickets using the DVC discount. I am using my savings and buy 22% of one Copper Creek point.

So you "only" need to buy an additional 32 tickets before you can get 1 CCV point
