MNSSHP dining

Just don't wait until parade time or fireworks...the few that were open were absolutely swamped.

We plan to eat at a counter service, does anyone know if they are open between 6PM and 7PM when they are getting the park ready? Or shoule we try to eat around 5:30?

thanks

If you used 2 CS on the day of the party you could use the extra TS credit to enjoy Hoop Dee Doo Review one night. It is 2 TS credits but lots of fun. Kids of all ages enjoy it. The food is good, not great, but it is a fun evening.

We are booked for a 5:20pm ADR for the second night of MNSSHP. Don't know how late they are booking, that just seemed to fit in well.

Our understanding from last year was that only Cosmic Rays was opened during this time and you had to arrive there before 6:00 p.m.

We went to MNSSHP last year. We had an ADR at CM at 5:20. By the time we ate and got back to the park, it was jammed packed and after 7. I felt like we had wasted too much party time. I would not do this again. Instead, I would enter the park around 4. I would eat prior to the party and not waste that time eating during MNSSHP. The time seemed to fly by. :confused3

Cosmic Rays was open & jammed after 1st parade & before wishes @ MVMCP (boys got hungry again, even after all the hot choc & cookies).

Speaking of Hoop Dee Doo, has anyone done it with a 2 y/o? I was thinking of doing that or the Polynesian show and was wondering if my DD2 would be bored.

We went last year on 9/30 ( the first night). We had ADRs at CRT for 630. By the time we got done eating the party had already started and it was packed. It was also our only day at the MK. This year we are going for the first night and are eating at LLT at 430. This should be plenty of time to eat and go relax before the party. MNSSHP was awesome, we just didn't time everything right.

Are all the restaurants open during MNSSHP or just LTT and Tony's. We want to eat during the party, but the LTT menu dosen't look all that great to me. What are my options? We're planning on eating about 7:15. TIA

I highly suggest eating way before 7:15.....What we did last year worked great and I think your kids would really love it.......Crystal Palace. :thumbsup2 It's a Character Meal ...buffet with lots of great selection and make a ressie at like 4:15.....you will get done in perfect time for the party. ( All character meals are only 1 ts credit)

We absolutely loved it there! We are trying LTT this year for the party for something different, but I would not have been sad if I couldn't get LTT because the food at Crystal Palace is so much better. We have some great pictures from there last year. Eat an early lunch that day by 11 am and then do dinner I would say by 4:30 or 5:00 at the latest. You don't want to take time out during the party for even counter service and your best bet especially with all the kids is to be in the park early and enter around 4 to avoid the crowds trying to get in close to 7.
