We are planning a WDW trip 10/28 - 11/2 with another family and we would like to take all the kids to MNSSHP on 10/31 -- but I know that Halloween night does sell out early and our problem is this: our plan for the trip is not final (and probably won't reallly be final until early Sept when we all know our school/work schedules) but I do want to get our MNSSHP tickets in advance however for 5adults and 5children and tickets that are not refundable that's a lot of $$ if we aren't final on our trip dates. So.... how long can I reasonably wait and still hope for tickets for 10/31? If I do decide to just go ahead and get the tickets, is there any way to recoup if we don't go (?ebay?)? Can concierge services ever be of help in a situation like this? Thanks for any info!

You may still be able to get them in Sept- but there will be chance it will sell out. If this is really, really something you want to do, then in all honesty I wouldn't wait that long. Just to be sure. Travel is back up, and the sell out dates from the last few years, just might not support what we could see this year.

Thanks for the advice and I think I'll just wait until our next trip-planning get-together next week and if we're all as excited about the idea of being in the MK on Halloween as I am then we'll just get the tickets now!

Last year, I believe Halloween night's MNSSHP sold out around the Sept. 22nd time frame. I'd get them before Sept. rolled around.

I'm guessing you can't wait too long, esp. since everyone says that Halloween and the preceding Friday are usually sell-outs.

I have tickets for the 28th (Thursday) that I got about 3 weeks ago, and I have a feeling they've sold a large number of tickets for that day based on the PS I got for Liberty Tree Tavern. I asked for the earliest possible PS, and it was 5:50. That seemed late to me compared to others who booked their PS after me for earlier dates (I think the earliest possible is 4 p.m.). And you know not everyone going to the party is making an LTT PS!

So yes, try to convince your friends soon! (Maybe you can show them the MNSSHP thread, that's what got me really excited! And be sure to "sell" them by mentioning all the candy and the photo that is included!)
