Last year we attended MNSSHP and had an absolute blast! When DH announced that we were attending the Tennessee Titan/Cincinnati Bengals game this year I was disappointed, but didn't say anything as DH gives up a lot for us.

While at WDW last week, the server at WL lounge gave me an envelope with a card from Mickey. It said that DH had cancelled the football trip for a trip to another MNSSHP!! What a guy!:love1:

Last year we went as: Mr. Smee (DH), Wendy (me), Captain Hooke (DS10), Peter Pan (DS7) and Tink (DD5). This year I would like to do a Disney theme again, but there are some potential requirements to solve the mystery of what to wear. I want to do this before I stress (I like to get done in advance!!)(

1) DH requires that he wears a "simple" outfit (Smee was very simple)
2) DS10 is a cool one!
3) I don't sew!!!

Help!

You have to find 101 Dalmation Look A Like Material.

Then you measure how much to cover both front and back of person. Fold the material and cut a hole in the middle to let the head thru. Take Velcro Strips and Glue to each sides to keep the material sides together. Roll extra material to make a tail, ok so you really should hand sew the tail on but you can glue it but it may fall off!

Get Make-up and create a different pattern on each face!

Voila! You are the 101 Dalmations, give or take a few!

I did this for DD when she was smaller. I used Fun Fur but it may be a little too hot for FLA!

Have fun!

LOL! I was going to suggest the 101 Dalmations too! We have used this before for a family Halloween party. I don't sew and this idea was so simple that even I could do it!! This is how we did our dalmations costumes. We all wore white long sleeved shirts and sweats. Then purchased black felt material and cut out our "spots." We just pinned them onto us with small safety pins. Rolled a black tail and also pinned it on. Very simple!

We experienced MNSSHP last year too for the first time and had a blast!!! Have fun! ::MinnieMo

We went last year as dalmations! That seems like the costume of choice.

I bought white t-shirt and painted spots on them. I painted the neck collar of each shirt a different color so they looked like dog collars. They worked out great because it was so easy to make and nice and light for FL and easy to pack.

For ears, I took plain headbands and hot glued white felt on them and then put black spots on them.

My dd went as Oddball, so hers was the easiest, no spots!!

The funniest thing was during the parade, Cruella saw us and told Horace and Jasper to get us!!

Have fun!
