MNSSHP and MVMCP Tickets Now Available

We just called and ordered ours for Sept 14th(first night of it).
(watch out, they may try to tell you its $15 for shipping! you have to tell them you want regular($5) not the expedited)
:surfweb:

And don't forget that dates for the parties can be added and removed at will by Disney without much notice.. so do keep checking the dates.

Hi, I love the Christmas party, went last year the first week in December... my question is some friends are going this year from Dec. 17 to Dec. 23 and are considering the party in order to see the holiday parade and fireworks. They don't care about anything else... cookies, parties, limited attendance. I've never been Christmas week but I'm thinking the parade and fireworks are the same as the MVMC party in Magic Kingdom. Am I right?

Yes. I believe they are. Just with a LOT more people once it gets closer to Christmas.

Yay! Got my tickets. Thanks so much! One less thing to think about.

Do the tickets sell out for the Christmas party??

I'm convinced on going, but my travel partner needs some persuading so I can't go and buy them tomorrow...or maybe for another month or two :headache:

Just wondering....if you buy a ticket for say, 11/16, and they change the party to the 17th, what happens? Do you just show up on the next night?

Wow the Halloween one starts later this year, last year it started Sept 4.

Last year we were trying to figure out if we wanted to spend the money on the MVMCP tickets and our dates were similar to those you listed. Someone was nice enough to let us know that the Christmas decorations, parade, fireworks...etc all are the same after the last Christmas party, they don't take down the decorations after that last party. So if you visit the MK then....you're in essence seeing the same thing the party goers saw, but for free. You just don't get the free cookies and hot cocoa...but heck you can buy those for less than the cost of admission to the party LOL

I'm looking to buy my MNSSHP tickets for October 7th....but what happens if I buy them now and that date gets cancelled....do they refund you? I won't have another day on our vacation that I can change it to.

I just tried to order the MNSSHP tickets online and the only option it gives me is "Will Call", although it has an email option in the description. Anyone know if this will become available later? I'm buying from Nova Scotia and would prefer the email option.

If I can only get "Will Call", can I pick up at my resort, AKL, when we arrive in September? Thanks!

Susan

We've picked up tickets for MNSSHP at Downtown Disney before....not sure about resorts?

Here is what I found on Disney's site: Ticket orders placed before midnight (Eastern Time) can be picked up the next day. Upon arrival, pick up your Will Call ticket order at one of the following ticket sales locations: Epcot®, Disney's Animal Kingdom™ Theme Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios™ or the Ticket and Transportation Center at Magic Kingdom® Park. You will need to present your Will Call certificate along with a valid photo I.D. (e.g., driver's license, passport or military I.D.).

Wonder why they don't mention the customer service area of DTD? Oh and I noticed on the check out for MNSSHP tickets that it had a link to other shipping options above where it says Will Call....it says 'see delivery option'...maybe click on that and it'll give you other options?

I'm going Dec. 8-11.

The fireworks and parade that take place at the party - are they the same as the fireworks and parade any other night?

If so, I'd rather not spend the extra for cookies, cocoa and fake snow.

TIA - I've never been during Dec. so I have no idea!

Does anyone know what makes a night a "Premium Event" night?
That is, why is Dec 5 53.95 and Dec 7 59.95?

TIA

Just got off the phone with CRO from buying my tickets for MVMCP on Nov 8th :santa:. Could not do it online since it kept defaulting to "will call" instead allowing me to pick a shipping option

Thanks! I tried the delivery options and it tells you what they are but it doesn't allow you choose anything but "Will call". Maybe it's a bug to be fixed yet? I'll call if I have to but I'm sure my long distance will be crazy this month (calling from Canada). :)

I had the same problem with the MNSSHP. :confused3 Hopefully they will fix it.

Wow the Halloween one starts later this year, last year it started Sept 4.

I'm bummed about the start date this year. We traveled on Free Dinning last year the week before Labor Day and are doing it again this year. But this year no MNSSHP.

No, the parade and fireworks are different. The fireworks are a special version of Wishes called Holiday Wishes and the parade is Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

Are there discounts for the parties? Like a AAA discount?

Thanks!!

I don't know about a AAA discount but there is a pre-purchase discount available for certain nights as well as certain nights that offer DVC and AP discounts.

Check here for which dates have the discounts as well as more information about the parties.

Just booked the party for Oct 3rd!!- so psyched- the castmember said I see you are a passholder and a DVC member so you get a discount for this night- not sure which one gave us a discount but it cost $200.00 for 4 of us - 2 adults 2 kids- does that sound right??
