MNSSHP and MVMCP Tickets Now Available

Does anyone know why MNSSHP tix are not discounted for advance purchase for 10/8 and 10/22? I can understand why they aren't discounted for Halloween weekend. We are going on 10/8...Are Friday nights busier than others?

Just booked the party for Oct 3rd!!- so psyched- the castmember said I see you are a passholder and a DVC member so you get a discount for this night- not sure which one gave us a discount but it cost $200.00 for 4 of us - 2 adults 2 kids- does that sound right??

The same discount is available for both DVC members and passholders. According to allears.net, the DVC/AP discounted price is $53.20 for adults and $46.81 for kids (tax included), so the total for 2 adults and 2 kids is $200.02, so yep, you're good.

I've heard (and it makes sense to me) that Fridays are busier due to locals, since of course they are already in the neighborhood (so to speak), and they don't have to get up early the next day.

That makes sense. I'm just hoping it's not as crowded as it was when we went 3 years ago which was later in the month than this year's trip.

Question about AP discount: We plan on going to the 12/5 MVMCP. I want to pre-purchase the tickets this week however we won't have our APs until our trip. Would we still be able to buy the tickets at the discount and then show our APs at the ticket window when we pick them up or would we have to buy them at the regular price?

How fast does MVMCP sell out? We're hoping to go to the party Nov 12 and 16, but we were hoping to wait and buy the tickets when we call for our ADRs on May 15? Will that be too late? It's a Friday and a Tuesday

I just tried to order the MNSSHP tickets online and the only option it gives me is "Will Call", although it has an email option in the description. Anyone know if this will become available later? I'm buying from Nova Scotia and would prefer the email option.

If I can only get "Will Call", can I pick up at my resort, AKL, when we arrive in September? Thanks!

That happened to me too yesterday, I tried three times, so I didn't order. Then I spoke to a friend of mine this morning and she was able to order hers with shipping, so I went back, deleted all cookies, turned the computer off and started again and there they were, all of the shipping options!

So we are all booked for October 7th First time at MNSSHP

Do you mean that you already have the vouchers and are going to activate them when you get there? I'm not an AP holder, so I'm not sure, but I would assume that as long as you already have the voucher, you can get the discount.

Very few parties are going to sell out, and the few that are aren't going to sell out in 2 weeks. You'll be fine.

Wow, and I check out on September 11....the Halloween party starts late this year. It usually started the first week of September and was rumored to begin earlier as well.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to use that money on something else...perhaps La Nouba or a tour.

I am wondering the same thing. I want to buy our MNSSHP soon, but we won't have our AP's until July. Can we go ahead and purchase the passes with the AP rate with the Will Call pickup option. We could show the passes at the Will Call window.

I dont know if you can purchase them before you get your AP..but dont worry...they usually dont sell out except for the premium nights. We wait until we go to get ours. I would be so frustrated if I spent $200 on MNSSHP tickets and it is a stormy/rainy night. UGH!

Our first MVMCP is this Dec. I want to buy them for Fri, Dec 3rd. This is the day before the taping or actually on the taping. I am not sure.

Do you think that the Thursday, Dec 2nd would be less crowded, or do you think most will go to the taping that weekend and Fri will be fine? That would be my first choice.

I wouldn't expect the taping to have any bearing on crowds at the MVMCP because they don't tape during the party. However, my concern about Friday would be the possibility of it being more crowded due to locals, since a Friday night party would be very convenient for them.

Yeah, they used to have Night of Joy at DHS. Did it used to be at MK before it was at DHS?

I mentioned this to my DH, but I'm concerned that they might sell out before we get there. The only night we'd be able to go would be Sept 14th which is the first night they are having the party. Waiting till we were sure it wouldn't be a wash out is a great idea. Does anyone have any opinions on what crowds are like on the first night of an event party? We would really like to go, but now I'm not sure if we should spend the extra $. We've loved it in the past. I'm just not sure what to do this year.
